Two years ago, a super solar storm triggered a CME pulse that crippled the country and destroyed the electrical grid. What remains of the country’s leaders are hiding a secret: something that threatens not just the US but the entire world. The Gulf Coast town of Harris Springs, Mississippi has suffered from gang attacks, famine, hurricanes, and has battled a crusading army of religious zealots. Now, they face their greatest challenge: outsmarting a tyrannical president and escaping an approaching pandemic.

Historia
Beyond traditional threats from states such as China and Russia and non-state actors employing violent extremism, can America's politics and political system withstand the assaults of the Fifth Horseman and the new MAD, massive attacks of disruption? The COVID-19 pandemic, the January 6 insurrection and takeover of the US Capitol, SolarWinds cyberattacks, the Texas storms that cut power, and the blocking of the Suez Canal are harbingers of the new MAD. And the nation is unaware and unprepared to deal with them.

In all the things that he went over with the past presidency of trump it seems there was nothing ever done correctly by the Trump administration. Although the Trump administration had set up the distribution plan for the antivirus before the change over, he gave all credit to the Biden administration.
He states that many drugs that helped many including myself, were not effective. and lies from President Trump. There wasn't any election fraud and it's all just a lie. beginning to think he is a left wing extremist.
The longer I listened to this book the more I realized he was another anti trumper and had trump derangement syndrome. I was hoping for a more honest book

Historia
The only possible thing that could make Morgan's world even more difficult happened. The Japanese fleet off the coast of California was wiped out. An even that Morgan and friends and family only knew about because of the radio broadcasts from the Radio Free Redoubt. So far removed from them it barely warranted notice. That is until the Chinese retaliated by launching a nuclear counter-strike against Mac Dill Air Force base. This, did warrant their attention and had the potential to profoundly impact their lives.
