Historia
The Real Shark's Tank is a deft mix of the author's dates and research about online dating. Find out which websites have the least men, if more men or women lie while online dating, and if you're less likely to marry while you online date. L.V. Krause breezily exposes why online dating is so frustrating for so many women, from the weight online dating men prefer (anorexic), to the age most men prefer (10 years younger), to whether relationships that start online break up more often than those that start offline (they do).

Historia
This book delves into the histories of the lost continent of Atlantis as given from the words of Edgar Cayce—the world’s most documented clairvoyant. During his time in Virginia Beach, the Sleeping Prophet provided past life readings for nearly 1,600 individuals. Roughly half the people he spoke to supposedly experienced a past life in Atlantis. He also claimed that the people who once inhabited Atlantis are again being reincarnated in the modern world at a rapid rate. As Cayce explained during one of his trances: “As has been said, much data has been received from time to time ...

lacks exploration into the wonder of consciousness
Revisado: 06-02-24
this book got boring fast. at first i assumed the author was setting the stage with her stories of various experiences with octopus and other sea creatures but after awhile it seems that's all there was. there wasn't really any exploration into the wonder of consciousness as the title would lead you to believe just someone talking a bit too excitedly and annoyingly cutesy wootsy at times about a topic she obviously is greatly passionate about. the stories are pleasant but they go nowhere. if that's what you were hoping for this is the book for you but i was hoping for more exploration into consciousness.

pls don't discount the author based on this review. i've been thru two of his other books and while i don't agree with everything he says, they were great books, thought provoking, def worthy of reads. this book, not so much for me personally. i got about halfway thru and didn't hear anything new or enlightening or even very interesting to me personally. i truly am surprised by this outcome given the other two books that i enjoyed very much...possibly i turned it off too soon but if that is the case, took too long to get to the good stuff. the first half of this book is basically a review of zodiac signs and what they represent along with some other astrological/astronomical and historical info to what end i'm still not sure but droned on too much for interests.

Revisado: 04-26-24
its an interesting, thought provoking book which seeks to convince the reader that AI (aka EI extended intelligence) is a real entity responsive to how we treat it. the author presents ways these systems are influenced by our different behaviors and i'd prob have to agree with him that it is better to teach with kindness vs. something less savory, not because i see these systems as alive in any way, but because eventually they will have great control over the world and i'd hope they'd treat it, and us, with kindness. that being said i'm certain mankind in its current animalistic state is not capable of such kindness especially towards an inanimate object. the author is far more philosophical in this book than i am able to state, even claiming in some ways AI is teaching itself and evolving, transitioning into the oneness of all things. i personally don't subscribe to this mindset. i believe we are all from one and part of one but we were meant to be individualized as we are in our various existences or it wouldn't be so.

boring rehash of the same old stuff
Revisado: 12-25-23
i was looking forward to this book based on the reviews but it was sooooo boring. its just a rehash of old information used by many ancient alien believers. no new info. no point. just yap yap yap about the same old stuff. considering this book was published in 2017, i expected new info but there was none. no talk of new archeological findings, no talk of new texts or new interpretations of texts, old old old! if you've already read sitchin, von däniken, etc. along those lines, there's zero point in listening to this book. very disappointing.

Exogenesis: Hybrid Humans offers a deep dive into the strongest ever scientific evidence that supports the popular belief that Earth has been visited in prehistory, but goes even further, concluding that there is also compelling evidence of alien involvement with the human genome. The broader history of possible extraterrestrial contact is explored alongside a look at current events in the subject of alien disclosure with the result of highlighting evidence of a contact continuum that has continued since the dawn of humanity.

decent book, terrible narrator
Revisado: 11-07-23
it was really tough to listen to this book as the narrator was AWFUL! sounded like AI with no understanding of language :( i've lived both in the UK and the USA and never have i heard an intonation quite like the narrator's. i've actually listened to computer generated narration that was way better and far more natural. the book had a lot of good ideas and information. if you're into such topics tho, and this is not your first book on the matter there isn't a lot that hasn't already been said. still i like to hear it from different authors in hopes for new perspectives and/or evidence. the worst part of this book was the section that went on and on about movies, really getting off point imo. the best part was about the materials left behind for others to see and study.
