The narrator was great, it helped get me through the book. I liked the premise of the book but the dialogue was forced and there were too many holes in the plot to keep me focused on the story.

I love that the author doesn’t follow a formula for the books and that the unique personalities of the characters drive the story line. The narrator does a fantastic job with voices and tempo.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the story from Bone‘s perspective and I hope there are more to come. The narrator was excellent, I could listen to him all day long. I would really love a new book in this series with dual perspectives and with both Tavia Gilbert and Will Watt as narrators . . .

Loved it!

This was so good. The story, the narrators, the sound effects, all of it. I was worried that the dramatic version would be like going to the movie after reading the book and being left disappointed. In those situations I am disappointed because movies tend to leave out important parts and / or change the story, this was not what this version did. For me it gave another way to experience a book I already loved. I hope Ilona Andrews do this with more of their books.

Go to author, did not disappoint

There are a handful of authors that I don’t even hesitate to purchase from, Frost is on that list. What’s not to love? There is action, sarcasm, self-deprecating humor, the right balance of realism and fantasy, and delightfully complicated relationships. Veritas and Ian’s story was engaging across all three books. The narrator is fantastic as well. Her accents, pitch, timing, all of it kept me in the story.

Poorly written, awful audio editing

The plot had promise but the writing was overly dramatic, simplistic, and predictable. There were so many holes in the story it became distracting. The characters had no individual depth (they all shared the same shallowness). In the third book the people producing the audiobook decided not to show up, when the author repeats lines both versions are in the book. It happens a lot. The narration was good but it was hard to judge full given the other problems.

Sexy, hilarious, emotional... the perfect romcom

I loved the whole series, some books more than others, but this was the best. I laughed during serious scenes, sex scenes, and at expectedly funny scenes. I cried a few times as well, but enough about that. The narrators were fantastic!!!

Hilarious

I absolutely fell in love with Heidi! Her journey felt so real and relatable with kind of hilariously awkward scenarios that I frequently found myself sitting in a parking lot refusing to hit pause and waiting to see how things turned out.

Romance!

I love audicted and have been listening for months. The format is so much fun, I kinda feel like I am sitting down with my friends chatting about our current reads. I have already listened to many past recommendations that I never would have picked out on my own and was delighted when I saw this romance focused episode. I have now added to my TBLT / wish list (Seven series, Brooklynaire, Beautiful Bastard, Hating Game) and I was happy to see a few titles included in the Romance Package. My favorite genre is urban fantasy and it was nice hearing how others define the field (strong female lead who kicks ass and saves the day/world).
I would also recommend, in the urban fantasy genre, anything and everything by Ilona Andrews (Renee Raudman narrates much of her work and is amazing), Nalini Singh’s Psy/changeling series, anything by Jeaniene Frost, and Patricia Briggs. Seriously good works and you can lose yourself in all of them.
