Good set up for Chronicles
Revisado: 12-18-21
This second part of the duo started with Soulforge is a good journey towards the story presented in Chronicles.
This book is not as well paced as Soulforge but still tells a good story. Veterans of the Lance will find many Easter eggs that keeps this book interesting.
The narrator is decent although the voices of characters are not as good as some narrators. However, much better than other narrators of many of the Dragonlance novels.

Historia
Welcome to Derry, Maine. It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real. They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But the promise they made 28 years ago calls them reunite in the same place where, as teenagers, they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children.

Great Book

A great psychological thriller. The reader does an excellent job!!
A much scarier story when I first read it as a teenager but definitely appreciate the story more as an adult

Historia
He was born to greatness, the son of a Druid bard and a princess of lost Atlantis. A trained warrior, blessed with the gifts of prophecy and song, he grew to manhood in a Britain abandoned by its Roman conquerors. He was to have a higher destiny: to prepare the way for the momentous event that would unite the Island of the Mighty - the coming of Arthur Pendragon, Lord of the Kingdom of Summer. This is the second book of The Pendragon Cycle.

My favorite of the series
Revisado: 08-07-18
This is my favorite book of the “trilogy.” In my opinion this book is the foundation piece of the series. I was not quite sure about the voice of Frederick Davidson (still don’t). However the story is so good that I could deal with his voice.
I love how Stephen Lawhead incorporates the Christian faith into the Arthurian Legend. It actually makes sense for the period of time when the celts were converted to the faith but later reverted back to the ancient beliefs.
Love Stephen Lawhead. “Merlin” is a great addition to the Arthurian lore
