The writing is on point! Great storyline for those that want to be used, taken, and bred with all the sweetness and rough play a group of jocks could offer. The narrator was also on point, one of the best I have heard, to be honest. Don't pass this one up; it was worth it!

The writing is pretty great and has some connection to the puppy-play movement, along with the alpha-omega D/s twist. Overall, it's not a bad story, nothing you can nut off to, but it certainly makes your mind want more. The virtual narrator is ok, not as horrible as I expected, but I think there is something that comes with using an actual narrator—inflection matters. I hope the author considers finishing the remainder of the tale; it shows promise.

It's a great book for edging and long surfing hours or road hours. The stories are different; they share only the frat concept, and only one is drab. They were sultry and hot enough when you are in a jam but not porny or hardcore. I wish they were. I think the authors did some excellent work here, but they should have pushed the line more, and they would have had a great product. Each story has an excellent fetish focus that incorporates the fratboy concept, so that was a plus.

The narrator is actually rather good and humorous at times with his character voice creativity, but you fall into headspace after a few snickers, and then it starts to grow on you.

Overall, this is a slow steam, not a hot pop and run. You will enjoy them, but that one, but it's a gentle stream.

Some key things stand out in this story.
1. omegas = bottoms
2. alphas = tops
3. omegas can get pregnant, even though they are male.... not sure about that one still. Especially since there are females in the story.

Overall, this is a love story, and while the author has created an interesting concept surrounding the whole omega thing, it comes off as a mix of "Pup-Roleplay" and "Alpha red pill" material. It's still got a good plot but just wasn't really prepared for that whole thing. I intend to listen to the next book, and again, it has a good plot. If you are seeking a romance with a small amount of erotic sex scenes, this is it! If you are looking for some porny action, this isn't it. It's a gay chick flick, essentially. I'm hoping the next book has some actual hot scenes to make up for it.

A hot SM storyline, read by a great narrator!

Several found this to be less than sexy or not "porn" enough. Remember that SM and D/s are exclusive to the participants' minds and imaginations. Technically, SM doesn't require penetration, and neither does D/s, but this is the embodiment of both with penetration. It was well done, speaking as someone who has been into this for almost 30 years.

M.J. Panios was fantastic at portraying the youthful central character and the hot "Daddy."

D.C. James undoubtedly has a background in this realm of play, and he captures it too easy not to have that background. Most authors that attempt this type of sexy scene lack the finite details to pull it off for those of us that have been in the scene. Great work!

I have purchased many audio works, but the combination of D.C. James' works being read by the sultry and stimulating voice of M. J. Panios certainly elevated D.C. James' works to the next level! I hope James keeps M. J. Panios working on his other books because his voice is on point with the main character of this work.

D.C. James has captured the alluring and forbidden tone of an impish main character who dances the line between sexual and bisexual. The character isn't bisexual, but that desire to pleasure and feed on sexual opportunity creates a steamy hot book! I look forward to purchasing his other works.

M. J. Panios has a voice made for this character, and while I am sure he could exceed and develop other characters, this one was almost written for him exclusively. He does have some simple errors in the edits, where the splice repeats words, but they are quickly forgotten when you let him speak his way into your mind like a siren. He carries a boyish butch tone that reminds me of the guys I grew up with and allows me to fall into the past.

Altogether, an excellent listen!

A sequel to "What they did to the kid" by Jack Fritscher, and one I read many years ago. I have to say, the recordings give the characters more life and reinvigorate my past enjoyment of this work. This sequel provides some of the most significant insight into the lives of gay men in the SF area in a snapshot of time wrapped in a cover. For anyone wanting to peek into the past and glimpse the cultural activity of one of the mega gay capitals in modern times, this is the book to do it. Tragedy, laughter, and many enjoyable attitudes, I think that Mr. Vargo provides perspective and enjoyment of these characters that past readers never had before.
