Historia
Joe Kenda investigated 387 murder cases during his 23 years with the Colorado Springs Police Department and solved almost all of them. And he is ready to detail the cases that are too gruesome to air on television, cases that still haunt him, and the few cases where the killer got away. These cases are horrifyingly real, and the detail is so mesmerizing you won't be able to turn it off.

Too many metaphors
Revisado: 03-17-19
It was a walk down memory lane, have not read this since a child. Unfortunately, I had never realised how repetitious and heavy-handed the Author was until now. Still a great look at Human behaviour and entertaining #Team Ralph

Historia
Richard Dawkins' brilliant reformulation of the theory of natural selection has the rare distinction of having provoked as much excitement and interest outside the scientific community as within it. His theories have helped change the whole nature of the study of social biology, and have forced thousands to rethink their beliefs about life.

Very interesting topic
Revisado: 11-12-17
To hear the words from the "horse's mouth" is a treat! I was introduced to this concept by a good friend and it definitely intrigued me. The behaviour of a gene can be similar to that of an entire human; the same actions for a successful evolution, very much an introduction for me. Would consider looking at other Authors of a similar mind-set ie. The other 3 of the 4 'Horsemen'

Historia
"Did I not tell you this would happen? I knew they would never allow me to live, I was too great an obstacle to their religion." - Mary, Queen of Scots The position in history of Mary Queen of Scots is a paradoxical one. Her fame as a monarch lies less in her personality or achievements than in her position within the dynastic maneuvers and political-religious upheavals taking place in northwest Europe in the 16th century. Most monarchs spend their early years learning in preparation to rule and then spend the latter part of their lives wielding power and status.

This was well written and extremely well narrated. The generational aspect of it was incredibly well done and the ending leaves much to the imagination.
