Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Boring
Revisado: 04-24-25
Lots of cussing smart asses. No character development. Author inserts political beliefs . Terrible narrator. Waste of a credit. Maybe authors description of why book is bad should have been in audible’s summary so I didn’t waste a precious credit. I think I’m done with this author.

Historia
Once upon a time, in the magical land of San Francisco, there lived a not-so-ordinary girl named Laurel Pettigrew. She was supposed to be the Chosen One. The plan was simple: She would vanquish the great evil Tybus in an epic battle. But destiny had other ideas, and Laurel's performance in the whole heroics department was a colossal flop. Now, instead of being a legendary hero, Laurel's the resident pariah of the magic realm. And what’s worse, the dark wizard Tybus swooped in, took over the realm, and forced all supernatural creatures to live under his tyrannical rule.

Couldn’t stand it
Revisado: 04-22-25
I thought this was sci-fi book. It was not. I could not listen to anymore after chapter 3. It is a book for teens. Awful narration, terrible plot that has been done before, and trying to be really hip with dialogue. Not for me. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this clunker.

Depressing
Revisado: 04-18-25
I listened to another book from this author and thoroughly enjoyed it so I set off to find another. Thank goodness this wasn’t the first book I listened to because I would not be in search of another. It was boring. Sure can we all imagine humanity becoming extinct. I think so and it is depressing. In books that I enjoy there is hope. Also humor. There was none in this story. So if you’re looking for smile and good feelings after listening, try something else.

Written poorly with a dumb plot. Horrible narration. I could have written something better and I have never written anything in my life besides school reports. I just have to say one last thing - did it ever occur to the characters to call the police.

The plot was thought out and the characters interesting. After reading some clunkers this book was a breath of fresh air. The end was a surprise as I usually figure out the murderer before the ending. I enjoyed learning about village life in England. Felt like I was there.
