The automated voice is horrible!
Revisado: 10-29-24
Shallow and disconcerting start. Can’t continue to listen. The weakness of the story combined with the voice feels like a waste of time.

The twists and unexpected events.
Revisado: 08-30-24
The narrator speaks in such a low voice it’s hard to get it loud enough to hear and his voice is fairly monotone.
The story is good!! The plot and unexpected events that took place were sad and so surprising. Can’t wait for #7!!

The story had numerous unexpected twists and turns. The character development was excellent. Enjoyed this book more than many of the more recent Patterson ones. Great read!

I’m so disappointed!
Revisado: 10-05-23
I’ve read every book in the Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers series so I was so looking forward to this one.
The narrator was weak in comparison to Richard Ferrone, the voices of Lucas and Virgil not nearly as “strong” as previous ones.
There were times during this book I wondered if John Sandford really wrote it. Dialogue was clunky with far more use of the word ‘said’ as each character spoke.
This book definitely is not as riveting as previous stories in the series😒

This story is slow and tedious. The narrator has a grating and boring delivery. Rarely do I fail to finish a book but after three hours I just can’t listen anymore!
