The story is definitely getting better. I found myself with my earbuds in every minute I got. I got addicted to the series.
So many things happened again. Magnus's mother showed up too and I didn't think about her too kindly. She behaved pretty maliciously. A few questions were ansvered by her but I'm sure there's more to it as she tended to behave very selfishly thus far, seeking only her own gain. Kaitlyn and Magnus's lives are not full of happiness, they have tragedies and difficulties to fight. I'm really interested where this adventure brings them next.

Once again, I loved Keira Stevens's narration. She did the accents and different characters' voices perfectly.

This second book in the series was definitely better than the first. Kaitlyn's character was a great deal more mature thus more to my liking. A lot happened in this book but the questions I wanted answers for after book one, about the vessel and Magnus's mother and father, remained unfortunately unanswered. There was intirque, battle and the everyday brutal reality of 1702's Scotland for Kaitlyn to experience and she got her emotional scars to prove it. I found Magnus's mother a very controversial character and couldn't decide yet if she was a supervillain or just a great manipulator who contemplates history through time and space. I didn't get my answers only more questions but still decided to go on with the next book as there was enough development to keep my interest.

Kaira Stevens's narration is still phenomenal. Her accents are magnificent, her voice is pleasant and good to listen to.

Time travel/historical romance is not usually the genre I go for but this time I made an exeption an I can't say I regretted it. After being able to get past Kaitlyn's incredible immaturity and air-headedness I felt myself sucked in the story. I couldn't help but like Magnus very much from the very beginning and somehow I warmed up to Kaitlyn as well after she learned a few lessons about herself and life in general. I definitely will go on with the series. I think Kaitlyn has a long journey ahead with ups and downs and great challenges.

Keira Stevens did an absolute fabulous job with the narration. Her scottish accent was spot on, so far as I can tell, of course. She switched between the characters and accents so effortlessly it was amazing. She really brought the story alive and made it even better. I definitely will seek out her other narrations in the future.

Wrecking Us Saving You was in fact a bit too emotional for me. I couldn't help but been waiting for the impending doom to happen from the very start of the book. Perhaps that's why it felt a tad too heavy to consider this story as an entertainment.

Both Sarah Puckett and Jarman Day did a pretty good job here but out of the two of them I liked Sarah Puckett's narration better. Hands down.

It was a delightful and fun story. I loved those obscene gnomes they were hilarious. Evie and Charlie were completely different in their characters. Evie was upbeat and fun, relaxed with such a joy for life. Charlie was uptight and lived his life crammed into a little box made up by his own rigid rules. I hoped they were going to be good for each other and Ashley Erin made sure they were. I enjoyed this rom-com.

Heather Firth's narration was so perfect for this adorable story. She did a wonderful job with this narration. I loved every minute.

Survive the Fall was the first book I've experienced by Julia Bright. What I liked about it most was that it was different from any other "military guy leaves the army and starts his own security business" book I've read - and trust me I've read quite a few. I loved that as a reader I got to be there when the idea of doing something good and helpful formed for the first time in the back of the characters' minds. It was great to see how this idea took root and started to build up from the ground with the potential to grow to something really noble. I liked the characters, the passion they showed in anything they did, be it mending fences on a ranch or investigating bad guys. I loved their communication, there wasn't unnecessary drama but openness and honesty. Kelsey and Adam had great chemistry and even though they started out as a nameless one night stand fate had other plans for them. Fortunately.

I loved Jill Smith's narration. She did a superb job. I loved her voices. I enjoyed how clear she sounded and the high quality of the recording. She brought the characters to life and made a good story even better.

On His Six was a good book. I liked the story of Ryker, this wounded and scarred soldier who went through hell and miraculously survived, and Wren, a hacker genius on an impossible mission to fulfill a promise to her late brother. While working together Wren found the key to Ryker's blackened heart and proved that after all he'd been through, he still had a soul.
I liked the writing, it was really entertaining. My only complaint is there were a few references to previous missions - I assume were the storylines in the previous two books - what seemed to have made big impacts on some of the characters' lives but were never elaborated. As I considered this story a standalone I would have liked a few additional sentences there to be able to understand what situations the characters were referring to. Other than that I really enjoyed Wren and Ryker's story.

Out of the two narrators I liked Aiden Snow's parts better. I liked how he brought Ryker's character to life. His female voice was also very good. His speech was a lot clearer, more to my liking. Grace Grant's narration wasn't my favorite. She captured Wren's anxiety in her narration but still, I had a hard time warming up to her way of speaking. It was more slurred and a little less understandable. I'm not sure if it was a recording issue or she has such heavily veiled voice.

This dark romance was a little off the beaten path for me as it’s not a genre I typically read.
So obviously I’m not an expert but if dark equals enduring physical pain, being a glutton of punishment, doubious content and full body and mind control, than well, this book was dark.
My rebellious little need to read/listen to something of a darker variety every once in a while has again been fulfilled so I think I’m okay for a few months at least.

Meghan Kelly did a decent job with this narration. I liked her pace and enunciation.

How the mighty have fallen! You have to love such a hardened character to be brought to his knees by unexpected love. The overall concept and behind the scene dealings of the bratva was of course a bit disturbing but I liked how Kazimir changed through his relationship with Sadie. I really liked Sadie's character. She may have seemed like a simple inexperienced nuance of a young girl but she was strong, passionate and above all utterly kind.
The Bratva's Baby was a great story by Jane Henry.

Wen Ross did an astonishing job with this narration. The russian accent was spot on and I liked the voices he used for the female characters too. The quality of the recording was also spotless.

Great addition to the Savages and Saints series by C. M. Seabrook.
My heart just about broke for these two - Lorelei and Damon. Life threw them quite a few impossible curveballs, that's for sure. It was heartwrenching how it was Lorelei's "family" that posed the biggest threat. I loved that despite their life experiences both Lorelei and Damon remained forgiving and understanding. I loved their connection, the love they had for each other. I loved the epilogue too.

Both Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire did a great job with this audio. Their narration was perfect for the story.
