I received this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. WOW, C. M. Seabrook sure knows how to write an intriguing, heart-wrenching, and heartwarming second chance love story. She also writes sensual and off the charts hot love scenes.This will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Damon is as tough as nails, but also forgiving and loving. Lorelei is strong but ready for help to battle her family. Mistakes and a villainous family tore them apart 11 years ago. But a chance meeting reunites them. Lorelei has a a secret that could tear them apart. Can Damon forgive her and trust her again? Again Gunnar and Jenna are phenomenal narrators for this story and series. They make you feel the emotions of the characters, and bring this story to life. With the author's words and their narration, the listener can escape to her happy place. I highly recommend this Audible book. It can be listened to as a standalone, but I encourage you to read the series in order to really get to know the characters. The secondary family members will also win your hearts, except for Lorelei's family.

Another amazing book in this series.
I absolutely love these characters and each of their stories. This book didn’t grab me from the beginning like the first 2 books, but as it progressed it began pulling me in and before I knew it, I was on a roller coaster ride. I loved this book, and a little sad because book 4 isn’t available for me just yet!! The narration was once again amazing. I’m totally loving this dynamic duo. They are new to me and I will definitely be looking for more from them.
I highly recommend this book/series.

Great addition to the Savages and Saints series by C. M. Seabrook.
My heart just about broke for these two - Lorelei and Damon. Life threw them quite a few impossible curveballs, that's for sure. It was heartwrenching how it was Lorelei's "family" that posed the biggest threat. I loved that despite their life experiences both Lorelei and Damon remained forgiving and understanding. I loved their connection, the love they had for each other. I loved the epilogue too.

Both Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire did a great job with this audio. Their narration was perfect for the story.

C.M. Seabrook does a wonderful job of combining a second chance romance with perfectly timed suspense, awesome steam, and sprinkles of humor with Salvage. It basically was everything I love mixed together into a fantastic story. I completely fell for Damon. He’s such a strong, alpha hero and loved everything about him, especially his protective streak. The swoon was strong with this one. I loved watching him and Lorelei grow to trust each other again and seeing them let their walls down. This story took me from being deep in my feels to turning the pages as fast as I could from all the twists and turns. Oh, and we get a small glimpse of Wild Irish! This was definitely a great listen.

Narration was done by Gunner Qualen and Jenna St. Claire. Both did great work of bringing the story to life and I’m excited for more from both. 4.5 Stars.

A second chance romance with some suspense and action what will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end! Loved this couple and the family surrounding them. Great story that will always be worth the time to listen.

My favorite type of story is a second chance at love and this one is fantastic. Damon and Lorelei were high school sweethearts until some careless words lead to her disappearance. Ten years later they meet again but Lorelei needs his help and has a big secret. Drama, action, and plenty of romance in this story. The narrators convey all the emotion of the characters and bring the story to life.

Every time I listen to a CM Seabrook story, I know I am going to be happy! Not only does this story have the depth I crave, but suspense, single parent, second chance romance, all the sub genres that I love! Lorelei has been cursed with an evil stepfather who has a plan for her future. Being in love with Damon is not one of them. Realizing her fate and overhearing a conversation by Damon, she disappears, only to return 11 years later. Now in over her head, with a secret no one knows, she is back and has run into the love of her life. Can she trust him and his feelings? Will she ever be free of her stepfather? This story had me captivated from the start. Lorelei proves to be a strong woman, a survivor no matter the cost and will do anything to protect what is hers. Damon is our strong alpha male, the kind you want to curl into for comfort and he is willing to do anything to keep her safe. The cameos of characters from other series only heightens my love of the book, bringing fond memories of their stories back to me too! A little Wild Irish always makes me smile. It's a gritty, thrilling and steamy listen.

Gunner Qualen and Jenna St. Claire voice these characters flawlessly. Qualen's deep baritone gives Damon that protective feel yet in other circumstances provides that arrogance to intimidate his enemy. St Claire lets Lorelei have her moments of insecurity and fear and in the next breath gives her the confidence and strength to survive. Together, their chemistry lets us in on the bonding and passion of Lorelei and Damon, giving us a satisfying listen.

I realize that there’s another book or two in this series but I loved Damon and Lorelei so much. We’re introduced to Damon in the previous books with his siblings but here we get to meet Lorelei and Nolan. It’s a great second chance romance that will tear at your heartstrings and make you fall in love with this couple. And I came to really hate Abbott and wonder how CM Seabrook is going to be able to redeem him when we get his book.

As for Gunnar and Jenna, I’ve come to love hearing anything and everything that they do. Wonderful performance you two. Definitely worth the credit for this book.

This was a new author and narrators to me and I loved both! This story had lots of different emotions but through it all, I always felt the love between Lorelei and Damon. This was a roller coaster ride but I totally loved it. The narration was also great. Highly recommended this audiobook.
