Historia
Christianity is in crisis in the West. The Inkling friend of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, Owen Barfield, analysed why. He developed an account of our spiritual predicament that is radical and illuminating. Barfield realized that the human experience of life shifts fundamentally over periods of cultural time. Our perception of nature, the cosmos, and the divine changes dramatically across history.

Historia
Since its original publication in 1949, P. D. Ouspensky’s In Search of the Miraculous has been hailed as the most valuable and reliable documentation of G. I. Gurdjieff's thoughts and universal view. This historic and influential work is considered by many to be a primer of mystical thought as expressed through the work, a combination of Eastern philosophies that had for centuries been passed on orally from teacher to student.

Historia
Continuing our study of man, we must now speak with more detail about the different states of consciousness. As I have already said, there are four states of consciousness possible for man: Sleep, waking consciousness, self-consciousness, and objective consciousness; but he lives only in two: Partly in sleep and partly in what is called waking consciousness. It is as though he had a four-storied house, but lived only in the two lower stories.

Revisado: 01-03-24
This man is a genius and to come upon his work has found me at the end of a journey I didn’t know was over.
No matter how odd the authors description of true reality he echoes masters of old with the intellect of modernity. His core nomenclature of cognition being most important for it is the conscious corner stone of reality itself.
Give it a listen and if honest and hungry enough you just might hear this truth too.

Historia
In The Daemon: A Guide to Your Extraordinary Secret Self, Anthony Peake proposes that people consist of not one but two separate consciousnesses - everyday consciousness and that of The Daemon, a higher being that seems to possess knowledge of future events. Drawing upon phenomena such as déjà vu and near-death experiences, he explores the ways that our Daemon breaks through into our consciousness and can subconsciously impact upon our decisions.

This audiobook proposes a simply amazing theory - a theory that states that personal death is a scientific impossibility. Using the latest findings of neurology, quantum physics, and consciousness studies, Anthony Peake suggests that we never die.

Historia
Sex, Time, and Power offers a tantalizing answer to an age-old question: Why did big-brained Homo sapiens suddenly emerge some 150,000 years ago? The key, according to Shlain, is female sexuality. Drawing on an awesome breadth of research, he shows how, long ago, the narrowness of the newly bipedal human female's pelvis and the increasing size of infants' heads precipitated a crisis for the species. Natural selection allowed for reconfiguration of hormonal cycles, entraining women with the periodicity of the moon - and imbuing women with the concept of time.

This book has so much wisdom in it to criticize anything here in my opinion is a fool’s errand.
You dissect details subjective in nature as clever as one possibly could knowing the ambiguity of such a illusive subject is challenging to say the least.
Worth reading a few times! Thank you!
