Facts!

This is the truth. The evidence is presented with the assertions, exactly the opposite of what we've heard. Bravo!

Historia
Having treated some of the world's most successful people, psychotherapist "Dr. Paul" sets out to answer why so many people who have everything end up feeling like their achievements are never enough - as well as what that pattern can reveal about ourselves and the society in which we live. The exclusivity of living behind the velvet rope or the gilded gate doesn't guarantee happiness for the rich, famous, and powerful; there are downsides to attainment as well.

Unexpectedly Good
Revisado: 01-26-20
I thought this book might make me grateful for the simple life, the “oh how the mighty have fallen” approach to happiness. It is that, but also so much more. The author is serious about his work and has solid arguments to provoke compassion in this average person for the elites. I learned a lot about how to treat the problems of these people I’d always assumed had no problems but the hedonic treadmill.

Historia
What? You don’t know Adam Wade? Here’s your chance! Adam Wade’s personal-yet-universal stories and vulnerable delivery have made him one of the most popular storytellers and comedians in the country on "story slam" platforms like The Moth and Comedy Central’s Whiplash. This Audible Original, performed on stage in front of a live audience, combines Wade’s greatest hits stories with entirely new material.

Funny and Real
Revisado: 01-07-20
Adam Wade somehow kept me laughing and engaged all the way through this book. Like David Sedaris, he seems to just be the rare person courageous enough to tell the truth about himself, but hidden beneath must be great art and skill. I hope more of his work becomes available soon.

The CLL Cancer Fighter, Plus Weight-Loss Diet!
Revisado: 09-03-19
This intriguing story/text-book showed me why my CLL chemo about 3.5 years ago went so well, and how to keep my cancer at bay without further chemo. (I hope!) I’d been doing keto haphazardly for years, but Dr. Boz (Annette Bosworth, MD) in this book showed me how to get off my plateau and be totally successful with the healthiest diet in history. Thank you so much, Dr. Boz!

Best Chance to Save Us All!
Revisado: 03-25-19
Me. Shermer is an entertaining and brilliant spokesman for science and against irrationality. His book shows the way to avoid the faulty thinking we can all be afflicted with and respond to those who think they know it all.
