Okay, this was a beautiful story. However, she was hurt by her sister and I don’t think she should have to watch them be happy while she has to see the live show of the betrayal. Nope I’m so sick of those story lines. But still a great story!!

I love how this story captured a regretful father and not only a second chance at a romantic love, but I love with his daughter. It was beautifully written.

These stories have been taking me on a ride. I’m not able to predict what’s gonna happen in these stories. I keep being surprised by what I’m understanding and seeing it’s refreshing to read a story like this amazing writing.

Friends?!?

These are the kinds of stories that have me going back and forth on my emotions. One minute, I was happy. The next minute, I was sad. The next minute, I was angry. The next minute I was horny. But this story had a wide range of emotions pouring out of me as I listened and read each page; this author is easily placed within my top five favorite authors; fantastic story, beautifully written, and just heartfelt.

A lie is a lie!

Listening to book 2 makes me think about my own life. Each chapter was so complex but very relatable. Jas and his mouth and Shi-Shi with my ability to be naïve. No one is perfect and when we look for that in people we set ourselves up for disappointment. They hurt each other and because of that I need book three to see what will happen.

Yes, I read them before but the narrator’s elevates the story. 😉

WHAT IS HIS NAME!!

Okay, let me start by saying I read these books before the audio version was released. I said I would never reread them because I was mad. A story is good when you are mad enough never to speak to the characters again. But anyway, because I’m a die-hard Love Belvin fan, I had to support it. After listening to the first five chapters, I felt as if I was listening/reading a different story. How I heard the story being narrated allowed me to feel emotions through the words. There was passion, pain, happiness, and more that transformed my views of Jas (I was pissed at him). I will say overall, this was a five-start delivery from all that took part in the project.

PS: I would be so amazing if some dancers were to dance to “bad for you!”

This book is a one of a kind. If you know this author you know she makes you love/hate some of characters. It was no different with this story. What stood out to me more were the background stories. The first one broke my heart and the MMC back story almost killed me. I wanted to do bad things to a lot of people because of him. But overall this was a great read.

I’ve read every book by Love, but listen is a different experience. I really enjoyed listening to this amazing store come to life through narration. A story that takes your mind and heart on a journey of love, life and family. A story that will stay will you long after the final word is spoken or read.
