Historia
In this exquisite story of family, food, grief, and endurance, Michelle Zauner proves herself far more than a dazzling singer, songwriter, and guitarist. With humor and heart, she tells of growing up one of the few Asian-American kids at her school in Eugene, Oregon; of struggling with her mother's particular high expectations of her; of a painful adolescence; of treasured months spent in her grandmother's tiny apartment in Seoul, where she and her mother would bond, late at night, over heaping plates of food.

Incredibly well-written, touching story
Revisado: 03-19-22
I enjoyed everything about Crying in H Mart. It made me think of my own late mom and emphasized that connection between food from our childhood and our feelings/memories.

Historia
Ralph helps create an educational Tool that maps a learner’s neurological processes and pinpoints the exact moment a student learns. But the Tool can also manipulate people’s beliefs. At least, that what several influential people think. Soon, Ralph finds himself the target of increasingly complex attacks on his businesses, reputation, freedom, and life. Ralph enlists an eclectic group of ‘frenemies’ to thwart this nefarious plot.

Should be a movie
Revisado: 07-24-21
I just finished The Knucklehead of Silicon Valley and I am ready for the sequel. I loved everything about the story and can see it being made into a movie. It describes the absurdity of making assumptions about people and situations and the worst case scenario as a result. Plus the character development is great - you care about them - and there is the right amount of humor and intrigue.

That’s when she slams into his back and he falls in front of the train. Margot’s clients all lie to her, but one lie cost her family and freedom.

Wow

First time I ever said "wow" outloud at the conclusion of a book. Great suspense and a fantastic ending.
