Im only 8 hours in, so this is a temporary review.
It's like he has a guardian angel kepping him alive. Which is unlikely since he's running drugs. Took six hours of back story to get to the smuggling stories. Some of the stories were entertaining. Then I got to the smuggling stories and listened for another three hours that were one life or death situation after another, and there is still another 15 hours remaining. he's either the luckiest man in the world or another tall tale teller. I want to keep listening in the hopes it's all real.

Good storyline, but the male narrator didn't fit. The choice of wording mixed with his deep serious voice would have been a better fit for an erotic biker book. but I enjoyed the series.

This is the first shifter book that refers to it as "knotting". And I've listened to some pretty erotic shifter books. These two books are great, but if you don't listen to the first four beforehand, you're really missing out on good back stories. Hated the cliffhanger on this book, so be prepared to immediately start the second.

So yes, the series is one book short. Or three. Maybe the author got munsoned and couldn't write anymore. But the incomplete series is still awesome. I was glued. and it is clean enough I would have no problem letting my sheltered kids listen to it.

I have 9 hours left, but I'm going to take a break. I made it to the point where Danny and William get separated trying to get to a car. this whole book is one stupid mistake after another where they get by simply by the grace of god. The action in this book isn't well thought out. I hope the author gets better as he writes more books. Maybe I'll finish this one day just to find out who survives and who gets which girl.

guns have only been used a handful of times besides the military which keep loosing. and EVERY TIME it's someone using the gun to take what they need from someone else, never to protect. It's like I'm listening to a zombie outbreak in a pacifist community. NO ONE is armed except jerks. No guns. No baseball bats. No machetes. No knifes. Not even a kitchen utensil. If the author reads this, if the pilot and his daughter get abducted by the Muslim or whoever it is, I'm done.

I was disappointed to see I still have 22 hours left. The narrator is good, but he just seems mis matched for the writing style. The book? It started painfully slow. Like three hours later the book was still inside the first house. It alternates between good action and then senarios that need more thought, like walking away from the perfect hideout without even a fight. But it's just good enough to keep me listening. I'll change my review if it gets better.

liked the first two series.

It's been a long time since I've listened to this, but I liked it. More recently I listened to the second installment of the Capital Ships and liked that series. But, now I am stuck half way through the third series of The Relentless and am really struggling to finish the books with impossible battle after impossible battle and nothing in-between but more impossible battles.

I keep trying to finish this series but I'm struggling. I liked the first series, the second series was interesting with the story involving Husher, Husher II, and Fesky, but this trilogy is just impossible battle after impossible battle. To make it worse, evey battle starting with the first battle leaves there ammunitions almost depleted, yet ten hours of battles later they still have enough missles to fight with eleven hours of battles yet to go.

I understand children do what they're told, but she eventually grew up and moved on. As horrible as she was treated, I just can't wrap my head around signing off legal custody papers to the man who raped her and then sold her babies to who knows who. Wouldn't that paperwork prove he raped a minor???

She wants her punishment so bad I can't even consider this a forced sex story. The sex isn't near as hard core as the description makes it out. The male Character has a cheesey voice. even when she gets abducted by rebels, it's not much more than talking.

Seemed like a mix of a reverse version of love struck female Harry Potter and Barbarian Warrior. She can't decide if she's a fighter that can take down half a community of Trolls single handedly, or a look at me look at me teen that gets wet over every guy she smells and can't beat one old professor. It's to inopropriate for kids, but not erotic enough for an adult to get past the drama.
