Paranormally Speaking: Knowingly Talking to the Unknown is a philosophical and satirical straight forward insight into the post taboo world of paranormal research and investigation as told by ITC and DRV Researcher, Ron “The Yacman” Yacovetti. With an eclectic background in stand-up comedy, broadcasting and over a decade of paranormal experience, Ron takes a pull no punches approach to important and sometimes underrecognized issues such as code of conduct, evidence review, reverence for our founders, the need for continuous education as well as the critical question we should all be ...

Historia
TDSi: The Digital Séance initiative is an unwavering, incrementally staged showcase of walking the spirit communication walk with the fully supported data driven act of talking the spirit communication talk. With much of the paranormal field’s cutting edge research seemingly laser focused on technology, Ron Yacovetti looks to broaden the individual’s paradigm and realized field of vision by chronicling in lockstep, correlative theories and concepts rooted in philosophy, consciousness and social anthropology. These academically fueled modalities make the undeniable point that there is ...

A Refreshing Perspective on the Paranormal
Revisado: 02-15-25
Ron Yacovetti approaches the phenomena he studies with intellectual rigour, deep respect, and moral clarity. Through it all, he retains a sense of fun, without losing any sense of the important ramifications of what he is doing. I look forward to much more work from him and Lordes in the future. This particular technique and initiative he is working on is innovative and promising.

Surprisingly brilliant!
Revisado: 12-03-24
I can't remember how I stumbled onto this book, but it's really clicking for me. I do various forms of meditation but inconsistently. My spritual quest has been rapidly evolving recently, and this guy seems to have some really actionable, simple methods, and a generally wise perspective on the nature of reality. If you're the right sort of reader at the right sort of chapter of life, you too may find this book exteemely helpful and enjoyable. Kudos!

When the mysterious Palmer Eldritch arrives with a new drug called Chew-Z, he offers a more addictive experience, one that might bring the user closer to God. But in a world where everyone is tripping, no promises can be taken at face value.

Stigmata is absolute genius. Of the pre 03/74 novels, it is one of the most reality warping, and simultaneously one of the wittiest, deepest, and most entertaining. As essential as Ubik to an understanding of the Dickian Canon.

Based on thousands of pages of typed and handwritten notes, journal entries, letters, and story sketches, The Exegesis of Philip K. Historia
In The Black Swan Taleb outlined a problem, and in Antifragile he offers a definitive solution: how to gain from disorder and chaos while being protected from fragilities and adverse events. For what Taleb calls the "antifragile" is actually beyond the robust, because it benefits from shocks, uncertainty, and stressors, just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension. The antifragile needs disorder in order to survive and flourish. Taleb stands uncertainty on its head, making it desirable, even necessary, and proposes that things be built in an antifragile manner.

Very few people know that Mark Twain wrote a major work on Joan of Arc. Still fewer know that he considered it not only his most important, but also his best work. He spent 12 years in research and many months in France doing archival work, and then made several attempts until he felt he finally had the story he wanted to tell.

We do not know why complex life is the way it is, or, for that matter, how life first began. In The Vital Question, award-winning author and biochemist Nick Lane radically reframes evolutionary history, putting forward a solution to conundrums that have puzzled generations of scientists.
