This has much more to do with human interaction during an apocalyptic event than it does aliens. You could trade the alien aspect out with anything say zombies, meteor, ww3 and it would feel basically the same. That said as a apocalypse survival book its good. As an alien book it leaves me wanting.

The Khargan

The white scars are a very intriguing legion and possibly the most adult and handle the beginning of the heresy the best aside from plot points in the book of course. This is a great dive into who they are, what sets them aside from other legions and why they are so unique. Not my favorite HH title but definitely a solid title overall.

This was a very cool story a quite unique one for Battletech with well written characters and some good story arcs. Great tension and a great conclusion. Audible can we get more Battletech quiaff?

Needed better editing on the performance

So first off this is a niche book. For anyone who loves video game development and specifically X-Com. The story is told well it’s not over long and is pretty fun. The only thing that took me out was the editing of the audio performance is poor. There are many pickups that weren’t edited together well and it will often pick up the previous word and repeat it it happens quite often in one section. This took me off guard the first time but happened regularly enough I stopped noticing by the end.

Overall loved it because I do love video games and especially X-Com. Knowing the story that went into it was awesome.

Young adult with xenomorphs

While the story is well written once I basically caught on this was a classic young adult story it became tougher to finish. That may be on me for not knowing from the get go but that’s basically my only real problem.

Starts good but then it loses me

I loved the set up but Alicia has this thing with the sissy always being basically a switch and once that happens she always loses me. And there’s not a lot of genuinely kinky business. Entertaining though and the performance is good.

Orks orks orks orks

This takes a different approach and tells an ork story with an imperial viewpoint as well which you may like or dislike but I loved it. Good pacing and well made characters. It’s no mary sue tale but an ork tale.

More than just a large laser to the torso

Forever Faithful proves that Battletch books can be truly magnificent stories with intriguing character development, action, emotions and be more than simply “I took a large laser to my mechs center torso.” I truly wish more Battletech was in audio format as it is now I listen to this on repeat. Absolutely amazing.
