Loved this. Loved that it was read by the author. Loved his journey from a printers son to a roller coaster designer. As I want to do the same thing in my life career wise, this sort of personal journey is invaluable

The most nitty gritty awesome imagineering book out there

Thank you for writing this book! As an inspiring theme park operator I’ve read as many imagineering books as I can get my hands on. While they have been great this one has been the most helpful in helping me understand the true scope and cost of becoming an imagineer. I love that you took the time to narrate it yourself as it made me feel like I was getting the story from you and not an in between. I love the story of growth as you went from challenge to challenge throughout your career. The biggest lesson I learned is that I need to learn to work with talented people and foster creativity and that great things take time. It dosnt take one person, it takes many.

What a great book, the detail was incredible about the working days of stone masons, or the materials used and the different kind of stone and rock used, it was a Rick story made for architects or people who love historical detail.

Apperently the Pinyan (romanized Chinese words) for Ben means stupid. I just learned this in this book. Great story and info. The virtual voice is terrible though. Can’t pronounce Chinese words. Now I have an American computer accent lol

This is the second time I’ve read this book. I have the physical copy on my shelf. I love the overview it gives of technical theme park issues. If you love theme parks, or engineering and have a casual or serious interest in imagineering this is the right book for you

You’re a wizard, Felton

This book is rad! I loved listening to it with Tom as the narrator, it’s like he’s telling you his own story. It’s authentic, detailed, and down to earth. He’s so personable he feels like a good mate as he’s retelling his adventures as Draco Malloy, growing up in the UK in the 90’s and his own journey of self discovery in cali when he learned what it means to live a rich life. Thanks for the read Tom!

I ended up deleting this book after it went into a child sex scene. There was a warning before but I was commuting and struggled to shut it off. I’m not a sensitive person and I’ll arch rated R stuff whenever, but this was pretty bad. It’s a book about inspiring emotions in readers and it goes into detail about the emotional destruction and sick perversion of a child predictor. Man, I just want to write fantasy stories about elves, not visit the mind of Walter madlo. Besides, the rest was boring and only played one emotional note which was screaming and crying without reprise. Good book if you are into melodrama.

Should be called the basic Instagram guide from 2014

Much of this information in out of date and its so basic it kills me. If you don’t know how to upload pictures, know what a hashtag is, or use filters this book is great, but it’s far less than “ultimate.” Exactly how you gain thousands of followers and build a platform continues to be real ultimate mystery. #PureShovelWare

She turned a muddling bothersome topic and made it clear and usable. I’m working on my own book, warlords of Thule, and want to make sure everything is ready for publication and this really helped
