Your computer needs to learn to read.

I have read and reread this series for years. The story itself is wonderful, even if it's a little over the top. The author is very talented but takes forever to complete a story. She put a book about Lyons little girl Caitlin back in 2020, it was left with a clif hanger that to this day has not been completed. This is part of a series of several of her books, with the storyline even in kindle vella and her current book there is over 165 chapters and still going after almost a year and it's been over 30 days since her last upload . I can't begin to tell you how much that's cost buying tokens because unlike books you can't purchase the story. She is terrible at keeping up with this series. I would not recommend her books based on this alone. As far as the computer recording this book, there are several times you're jarred out of the story because of misspoken words.

This was a good story. The narrator did an alright job. There were areas that I fast forwarded through but overall a decent story.

Have you ever felt like you were living your life for a future that was predetermined? Like there was some bigger picture you just prayed you would someday see clearly? That picture has been crystal clear to me since I was old enough to recognize it for just what it was. Or, I should say, recognize him for who he was.

Didn't care for the voice of the male narrator .
Revisado: 11-09-18
This book show have been about a Alpha hero who finally gave into the love he had for the woman. BUT, the voice of the male narrator made him sound either wimpy or sarcastic. During the intimate scenes he always sounded so smirky it was just too much. To me a Alpha should be growly and deep voiced.
The story itself was really good. At times it felt repeat so I skipped a few times and fast forwarded some just to get to the point already. And I didn't like how the Dad to the Hero jumped to conclusions considering how the Dad chased off any potential suitors, and the hero was thinking one that took her virginity. That is why I left a four star instead of a five star.
Overall, I would recommend the book to read but not as a Audible because of the narrator. I think he would be a good fit for a softer romance, just not as a Alpha hero type.

This was a pretty good story.
Revisado: 10-17-18
I really like this story. the performance at the narrator was really great, she knows how to really put the emotion and the feeling into the story.
Although I felt there were times that the story dragged through no fault of the narrator. Ifelt there was a lot of repeating things that really did not need to be repeated so much. This made this story the same longer than what it would have originally been if the author had not repeated herself throughout parts of the book.
Even with this occurrence in the book, It was a good enough plot that it kept you wanting to read more to the end. And this is why I would recommend it to other readers with the warning that there are parts that drag
I will continue to read the other books in the series because I have became invested in the characters and then their lives and the Author did a very good job of pulling the reader into those that lived in this imaginary town of Muddy Gap.

Matthew "Wolf" Steel hated flying commercial. Luckily his job as a Navy SEAL meant he didn't have to do it very often. He'd been unlucky enough to be assigned a middle seat on the cramped jet, but fortunately for him, the woman next to him was willing to switch seats with him. Hoping for a relaxing flight, Wolf was pleasantly surprised at the good conversation and sense of humor the woman had as they flew 36,000 feet over the countryside.

Good Story, not a Sizzling Rating.
Revisado: 10-16-18
This was a good story. This book I believe, was misplaced when listing was named as a Romance. It was also mis-rated as SIZZLING. There was very little Chemistry between the two characters. and very little romantic actions between the two characters as well. There were a lot of I can't believe he really wants me. I can't wait to see her and other declarations of feelings for each other but nothing to really back it up in the physical ways.
I would have put this under the action genre, instead of of the romance genre.
****WARNING*** I would also say that this book could very well contain triggers for those who have been in abusive situations. And there was a threat given about gang rape.It was very graphic and those that have triggers should really remain away from this book.
Overall it was a good story but that's all I would say. I wouldn't say that I would go back to read it again. I'm not sure that I would even recommend it to anybody because I feel that it's not really a romance story. I was extremely let down by the ending of the book. It was the way that them being together came about after the mission. Not IMO handled correctly.
Make sure you like a lot of action before reading.

J.B. Hammock played by his own rules, and rule number one was never settle down. He treated his women well, but with a no-strings detachment they all accepted. But sweet Tellie Maddox hovered about like a gossamer butterfly, always trying to take care of him, always caring about him. It was enough to make a confirmed bachelor take drastic measures.

I struggled with the review of this book.
Revisado: 10-15-18
I struggled with the review of this book. I love this story have read it many many times and will probably continue to read it many more times.
The biggest problem I had in leaving this review was the narrator. she sounds like a lovely person. But, her voice sounded like that of a child. I am sure that she would do well in Reading children's books but not books like this. She sounded like a kid not an adult. This was my greatest problem throughout the story. I kept thinking of an teen, not a matured adult.
Overall her performance was well-read. She did read well with no mistakes in Reading the words. But there were not really any inflections through the different characters.
Otherwise, this is a group book by an even greater Author. I love all of her books and own everyone of hers except for the last few ones because I of personal issues within our family.
I would definitely recommend buying her books and reading them all but I don't think I can recommend the Audible books unless they changed the narrator. No one wants to hear a romantic story in a child's voice.

I found this to be an okay story.
Revisado: 10-12-18
This was a okay story. I hope you had read Adam, which was way better than this one. And I don't understand why audible does not put the first volume on the in the storyline as a part of the Romance package it's the first one the first story should always be included and whatever promotions that they are running because it's just us not make sense to have readers start on a second edition of a storyline that spins through several books and you're only going to offer a few of those as part of the promotion. The story itself was okay. There were times that I felt the heroine in the story didn't act as old as what they were supposed to be by her actions the indecisiveness of her decisions and all of that just did not make the story portray her as an older woman mature woman. There were Parts in the story that really dragged and the intimate scenes of the story at times as nothing and did not come across as passionate as two lovers or supposed to be. the connection I think because of this the connection wasn't as felt by the reader. Your connection just wasn't as felt as different couples first story couple was. Overall though it was an alright story and it will link the rest I believe t. I just wish that Audible would stop the not putting the first book in a series as part of a romance package that Amazon did for romance readers. I for one, am a romance only reader, so this package really is the only membership that makes sense for me to get. If I read anything other than romance I could understand getting the full Audible membership but, it is like throwing away money to pay for the full membership. I found out recently that Audible doesn't qualify those who took part in the Amazon promotion , are really not considered members. It's just not right. Anyway, what I am mostly trying to say is, You just don't want to start a story in the middle it doesn't make sense. I hope Audible will consider me changing this.

A Huge let down
Revisado: 09-22-18
First of all be warned this book does not end where the original book does. It was a very abrupt ending that I didn't enjoy whatsoever. I am just glad it was a part of the Audible Romance package because I would have felt robbed if I had to pay for it. And I loved the original version of the book Jordan Silver wrote.
The male narrator did an okay job as the voice of Lion but made Angel/Katerina sound like a 2 year old and her friend Jared like a pimply faced teenager and he was part of the Motorcycle Crew! In Chapter Fourteen he mixed up the parts of Lion and Angel so that she had Lion's voice and He had Angel's.
Now the female voice of Angel did an all right job I really had no complaints about her .
The voice of Lion's Parents was made to sound as if the were African Americans and the covers show his as a Caucasian and the voice of Lion was made to sound as if he were a Caucasian male, so that was mixed up .
In Chapter 21 for whatever reason it started sounding like a scratched record because it kept repeating lines out of nowhere. I don't know if it was recorded that way or if it was a technical glitch.
If I were the Author of this book I would definitely rerecord this book and offer ALL of the the Lion Crew books since the ending of this version just sounds cut off instead of finished as the original version of the book does. I would not want all the happy butterflies to be disappointed.
I hope this helps others to know if they would choose this book or another as of now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else in the state it is now.

Sheltered small-town girl Gretchen Brannon was utterly out of her element when she aligned herself with Sheikh Philippe Sabon, the formidable ruler of Qawi. They came from different worlds, yet she found a soul mate in the powerful, sensual man who'd suppressed his passions for far too long, and harbored a secret anguish. But he made this virtuous young woman aware of her own courage and, in turn, she aroused his sleeping senses as no other woman could.

They left out half the story. Very disappointed.
Revisado: 04-23-18
I cannot believe Audible left out half of this story. So mad. I have this book and I have read it several times, I am listening to this on Audible and am in the middle of the story when all of a sudden, they cut to the end. Why? Is this what I should expect from Audible? If so, I am canceling my subscription. Rediculous! Shame on you!
