enjoy characters, they are real - some would be really scary if met in real life - what nitemares are made of --- could I make some of the choices they did. --- not so sure

the bad guy does not always win

really love how the P A W S has been integrated into a real life historical time and situation.
Author has really done an excellent job creating the characters for the changlings, and how the changlings came about is covered in this story.
I am hooked on this series, and short as some of the stories are, they are perfect for each story.
with my love for cats, would love to have been able to change into one as wanted.

love this book, wonderful development and timely back stories provided to keep your interest and show the why in characters developing and reacting the way they do.
The challenges, deals and promises, half truths and specific wordings will keep your interest throughout the book. I was unable to put the book down as was drawn in and through the story by the well written and wonderfully developed story plot.
Both author and narrator are on my list of ones to keep and eye out for More wonderful entertainment.

Enjoyed the story line - especially looking what was happening from a younger person's view.
the family dynamic after tragedy and a family death was very real, and the impact on the young girl was very extremely well worked into her character.
Great start of a series, brings you logically through events, great character interactions - story line extremely well developed. I look forward to more in the series.
A Don't Miss It, book - you won't regret reading or listening to this one.

Gladiators and Vampires, Oh My!

Wow, what a mix - Gladiators, vampires and future world. Love how it was all woven together.
Female lead character, Mira, is so believable, interactions and situations with others was well developed and found myself really invested in the story - got to the end of the book and "I want more".
Great flow to the story and ends leaving you wanting the next book, but not so short you feel you got cheated on the story line. can't wait for the next book.

Great characters and story developement

Impressed, great story finally from the side of a veteran working for the alliance, military protecting survivors. Well developed characters, depth to them with back stories. Really enjoyed how showed even military protectors had personal issues that he needed dealing with. An honorable man that believes his word is his bond. Found the story line very believable and looking forward to others in this series.
Found the narrator made following the story and changes from character to character clear.

Found this book highly entertaining, logic of difference of shapeshifters and werewolves well explained. That covered, loved the characters, they were very real with very real problems,worries and happiness. Bullying episodes felt real, I remember those as a kid. Lots of very real situations of many types in the book, and all were heart tuggingly real.
The bad guy found very real, very bad and true to how I view badness, totally out for himself -- spoiler alert, the good guys, or most of them win finally. Loved the story, listening to it again.
Narrator was an excellent choice for this book, pulled you into the story.

The three stories in this book are great, laughed till my sides ached and they left a smile on my face long after had finished them.
The Narrator for Frankenstein was perfect for the pieces, added to story atmosphere. Narrator for Swamp Monster was like a setting for a gem - totally great for that story. Vampire Caving narrator
Frankenstein, IT Support a great story, very imagintive combination of today's world and the "monster" world with a chuckle and laugh around every corner of the trip.
Swamp Monster great back drop of how to survive in business - sort of :)
Moves from employed to unemployed and . . . Very good weaving of a tale, keeps interest, keeps you smiling - great!

Vampire Caving, Vampires like normals? what a start - a tale that could easily translate to other than vampire. Really enjoyed the depth of history/back story that was used for the templete of the story. Loved it and narrator was a huge plus also.

Morgan and his extended family could see the light at the end of the tunnel, dim though it may be. There was the promise of power once again. The plant was being repaired, and it looked as though it may actually run. While it meant lots of hard, sweaty work, the reward was worth the investment. The farm was growing strong, and community involvement was good. People were finally coming to terms with the fact that they needed to work together. So far Mother Nature had been on their side. But that, too, was about to change.
