Historia
Is having 'somebody to love' the most important thing in your life? Do you constantly believe that with 'the right man' you would no longer feel depressed or lonely? Are you bored with 'nice guys' who are open, honest, and dependable? If being in love means being in pain, this book was written for you. Therapist Robin Norwood describes loving too much as a pattern of thoughts and behavior, which certain women develop as a response to problems from childhood.

A friend recommended this book to me and it was spot on. This wasn't my first rodeo, processing my codependency and yet it was still very eye opening as it progressed. I highly recommend!

Historia
Why are women more verbal than men? Why do women remember details of fights that men can't remember at all? Why do women tend to form deeper bonds with their female friends than men do with their male counterparts? These and other questions have stumped both sexes throughout the ages. Now, pioneering neuropsychiatrist Louann Brizendine, M.D., brings together the latest findings to show how the unique structure of the female brain determines how women think and what they value.

Incredible
Revisado: 12-01-22
It was like someone described my while life - even the parts that haven't happened yet but I've seen my mother go through.
It's so healing and unnerving to hear that such big parts of my personality are so much of a common experience for females.
I think every human should have the information in this book - one way or another!
Dont hesitate - this book will change your life!

Historia
In this intriguing business novel, which illustrates state-of-the-art economic theory, Alex Rogo is a UniCo plant manager whose factory and marriage are failing. To revitalize the plant, he follows piecemeal advice from an elusive former college professor who teaches, for example, that reduction in the efficiency of some plant operations may make the entire operation more productive. Alex's attempts to find the path to profitability and to engage his employees in the struggle involve the listener; and thankfully the authors' economic models.

Historia
In this culmination of his life’s work, Peter A. Levine draws on his broad experience as a clinician, a student of comparative brain research, a stress scientist and a keen observer of the naturalistic animal world to explain the nature and transformation of trauma in the body, brain and psyche. In an Unspoken Voice is based on the idea that trauma is neither a disease nor a disorder, but rather an injury caused by fright, helplessness and loss that can be healed by engaging our innate capacity to self-regulate high states of arousal and intense emotions.

Historia
Many women have spent their lives trying to succeed by "making it" in a man's world. But things are changing - more and more women are realizing that this way of being is no longer sustainable. We are experiencing a global shift that mystics through the ages have predicted: the return of the mother and the rise of the sacred feminine. Rise Sister Rise is a call to arms for women to rise up, tell their truth, and lead.

Historia
The tarot is a pack of 78 playing cards used by mystics and occultists for foretelling the future as well as for giving you a peek into your spiritual and mental pathway. Tarot cards have existed since the mid-15th century in various parts of the European continent. However, at that point it was basically used to play card games, such as French tarot or the Italian tarocchini.

Barebones basic tarot 101
Revisado: 10-23-19
I was recalling hoping for a bit more than the reference books of my decks or a quick Google of each card could give me. If you want someone to basically read a guide book then this is fine. But I really was hoping for more about underlying themes (like how the suits and the court cards interact creating the meaning behind specific cards).
I was hoping for lore information like the significance of the pentagram being encased in a circle to crate the pentagram being a representation of something physically manifested on earth.
All I got was basic: this card means this.
For me, that's rote memorization and will happen over time and this book offers nothing unique or helpful.

Historia
"I can't afford that." "Now's not the right time.... I need to save up." "Quit my job? Are you nuts?!" Sound familiar? Money is one of the biggest excuses we make to not go after what we really want. Our fixation with money - the desire for more of it, and the fear of not having enough of it - is often really just a longing to feel safe. But this obsession with money is coming at a much bigger cost: our sanity, our creativity, our freedom, and our ability to step into our true power.
