A Time to Seek
Revisado: 08-25-24
I loved the historical backdrop for the adventure of time travel unveiled in this tale. it’s motivated me to google some pictures and read a little about the Valley of the Kings Egypt.

Kelsey Willoughby doesn’t have time to pursue her dream of writing a novel. Imagination doesn’t pay the bills, and she’s busy saving her beautiful bookshop from online competition, hotel developers, and the sneaking suspicion that nobody reads anymore. Not to mention all those voices telling her she doesn’t have talent. But then the vacant lot of weeds next door starts to shimmer.

Seamless World Weaving Blurs Reality & Comments on Creativity and Life
Revisado: 07-24-23
Higley weaves worlds seamlessly, building suspense as she blurs the lines of reality and intermingles philosophy on creativity and life. I thoroughly enjoyed this encouraging tale and its satisfying resolution. I also experienced audio glitches with the ends of the first two chapters cutting off. After I contacted customer service, I believe they resolved the issue because that did not continue in later chapters as I finished listening to the book.
