All 3 books were 5 🌟! An absolute page turner. The narrator made the voice adjustments where appropriate and the storyline was great. This series kept me so interested that I completed it in 1 week. 🥰

I love reading/ listening to love stores so I toughed through it. However, this story could have been written in a lot fewer pages. I had to get use to the female narrator's voice, but once I understood where the story was going I know why that voice was chosen.

There is no way CODE could still be alive 🤨, but I love the writers of this series. 🥰

I struggle with understanding why people's sexual identity/ preference needs to be validated by the world. This information of this Lynn person is subjective and forced. Lynn doesn't seem to identify, but the author and narrator of this story choose his identity for him. Hmmmm.🤔
A deeper question for any human that needs validation from others. Could your need for validation and acknowledgement be from inner turmoil? There are people that don't have an opinion or want to know about your sexual identity/preferences one way or the other? That is a personal/matter.

I can't listen to it long enough to see where it goes.

Listen was painful. Virtual listening is NOT the answer.

There are many things thatba computer is good for. Emotions, inferences and correct pronunciation of words do fall under its benefits. Whoever thought a computer reading a book was a good idea, should go back to the collaboration table and listen to the team. If the whole team chose it, get a new team. 🤣

Promise Broken and Promise Kept we're exciting. It was like watching a movie and talking to the characters as though they could here me. 😅🤣😂 I laughed, was sad and angry. Anytime a story line can evoke those emotions, it is definitely a win. Don't wait too long to publish the next part of the story.

May wanna hit TP up to see if it is film worthy.

A computer/robot reading a book is the most terrible idea I have heard in a long time. The computer has ZERO ability to read prosodically. It pronounces names and words that are the same throughout the story different each time ot reads them. There is little emotion, but it's on the wrong places. Just pay the real live narrator.

I love Ashley Antionette's style of writing. She is a great storyteller. I felt these same emotions back in 1999 when I read "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sista Souljah. I think the Ethic series would make for great television entertainment. Ashley should pitch it to TP (Tyler Perry).

The narrator is awesome, too. She skillfully switched characters without missing a beat. I have heard some terrible narrators since joining Audible 10 years ago. Awesome performance.

Best wishes, black queens! Keep doing what you do!

iikane has a great voice, but her inflections seem to be way off. She's supper excited when it is NOT required and some of her tones change the intended meanings of the message.

This is a 2009 book. I hope she has corrected that issue since then.

Struggled to finish this. Misty's voice is very pleasant to liisten to, but she needs someone to be honest with her about flowing with punctuation.

She sounds like she is stopping in the middle of sentences. The influctions in her voice make you think she is starting up the sentence with excitement when she should be toning down for ending the sentence.

I pray she takes this as CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Positive growth should always be the objective. She has great potential.
