One of the best Reachers adventures
Revisado: 01-23-25
Plot and storyline are well crafted, only downside is that narrator is clearly much older than Reacher would be so it takes a bit away from the character.

Historia
Across the country women are being murdered by a killer who leaves no evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of struggle, and no clues to a motive. They are, truly, perfect crimes. In fact, the only thing that links the victims is the man they all knew: Jack Reacher.

Revisado: 11-13-24
Like everyone else pointed out, narrator is marginal at the best, but book in itself is great, well written. Kept me on the edge of my seat guessing all of the way to the end.

The Ministry for the Future is a masterpiece of the imagination, using fictional eyewitness accounts to tell the story of how climate change will affect us all. Its setting is not a desolate, post-apocalyptic world, but a future that is almost upon us - and in which we might just overcome the extraordinary challenges we face.

Better Narration could elevate this boot
Revisado: 06-24-24
Although not a John Muir’s creation this is a great book for those who are interested in dabbling in aboriginal outdoor skills and generally looking for a book that brings love of simplicity and living in and with nature.
Better narration could help to elevate this book to next level. At the times narrator feels bored with material in front of him.
Overall this book deserves to be purchased and saved on my bookshelf

Historia
This novel biography brings Marcus Aurelius (121-180 CE) to life for a new generation by exploring the emperor’s fascinating psychological journey. Donald J. Robertson examines Marcus’s relationships with key figures in his life, such as his mother, Domitia Lucilla, and the emperor Hadrian, as well as his Stoic tutors. He draws extensively on Marcus’s own Meditations and correspondence, and he examines the emperor’s actions as detailed in the Augustan History and other ancient texts.

A must read for anyone interested in history of Roman Empire during Marcus Aurelius
Revisado: 05-06-24
This audio book was an absolute gem to listen to as it was narrated by author himself. It was written as a literary novel rather than a historical book, it is more a historical fiction i a sense that a lot of the actual events were quoted from different sources and sometimes they were contradictory so the author was left of creating a narrative based on many sources and filling in gaps with creative analysis.

In the late 1990s, Patrick O’Brian’s beloved, massively bestselling historical novel series was destined for film. With director Peter Weir and stars Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany signed on for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, there was only one problem: The Rose, the replica eighteenth-century warship that filmmakers bought for the production, was in Newport, Rhode Island, two oceans and thousands of miles away from Hollywood. Enter a ragtag crew of thirty oddballs and tall-ship fanatics, including author Will Sofrin.

Narrator also did absolutely epic job bringing listeners into the story.
