Steven Weber is great, but the story is average

An average Mitch Rapp story is still pretty damn good. I am happy Guidall is out as the narrator and Steven Weber is in. I know Guidall is beloved, but I can't stand him. I hope Mills is finished with Russia being his villian. I want him to have the balls to write China or Hamas as the bad guy. It would be easier to write a global terrorist org as the bad guys. But realistic to make it the CCP. Russia, Russia, Russia. I have had enough Russia. /

Reacher is still my favorite series

People love Scott Brick, but I don't get why. He reads everything the same. He doesn't do accents. Every character has the voice. I don't get why people like him. But I do love Reacher.

Jack Carr delivers

Carr started writing this book before Covid. He didn't get his idea from Covid, Covid it's idea from him:-) In this book, Reese has to investigate a weaponized virus. there's a lot of badass action scenes. It's what we come to expect from Carr. Chris Pratt says about Reese "He's a rowdy mother****." This is book #4 and he's still got it. I gave it 4s because I am tired of virus esponage thrillers. After going through Covid, I don't want to here you virus's.

This is not satire, this a documentary

If you don't think this is funny, then you are the subject of this book. If you took away the hysterical jokes, you would have a non-fiction documentary on Wokism, cancel culture, and all of the nuanced lunacy that comes with it. If you are not the subject of this book. If you do think this is funny you are a racist, cisgendered, bigoted, Rachel Madow hating, MAGA hat wearing white supremacists. Don't have a MAGA hat? That doesn't matter. You aren't white? That doesn't matter. This book perfectly encapsulates the times we live in. You should listen to it right away.

Prequel to the Avengers video game

This is a prequel to the Marvel's Avengers video game released in 2020. I enjoyed it. it's a pretty good story. A character that is not yet in the game plays a big role in the story. If you are a fan of the game, you will notice lots of references to the game universe. I thought that the narrator was awesome. He gives Thor and Hulk a very distinct voice. If the character has an accent, he reads it that way. I highly recommend this book to Avengers fans and especially to those that play the game.

I enjoyed the multiple narrators

I enjoyed the multiple narrators. They did a great job. I liked the book. There are a lot of characters. Maybe it's because I always listened when I was doing something else, but I started to have trouble keeping track. It got a little convoluted for for me.

I loved it. I bought this during the 2/1 credit promo. It was "extra." So, what the hell? I started it and finished it in a couple of days. Apparently, it's going to be a Netflix or HBO limited series or movie. Starring Nicole Kidman. This book reminds me of "Big Little Lie". It's not a knock-off, but similar. you will have to read it, er umm, listen to find out how.

Action packed and hilarious.

Rocket and Peter Quill. Or, as Quill likes to be called, ... don't say it... Star-Lord are on another quest. Well, Rocket says it's not a quest, but it's a quest. The Collector wants another umm, thing. So, Rocket and Quill take the job.

This podcast captures the humor and action you expect from Rocket and Quill. It's hilarious. They pick up other characters along the way. Quill is old. Apparently Rocket and Quill are the only GOTG left. I imagine we find out why. I have not gotten that far yet. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

A force in the thriller genre

Jack Carr has put himself in the rare company with Brad Thor and the titans of this genre. It took me a while to get into this one though. Jack Carr describes every scene in a way that puts you right with the characters. However, some of the details lost my attention. Porter does a great job narrating. Even though I didn't like this one as much as the first two novels, Jack Carr is on my "Must Read" list. "Must Listen to" list? 4/13 is the release date of the next one. I am going to use credit and preorder it.
