An interesting new to me series
Revisado: 02-23-25
I’ll admit that I figured out pretty quickly who the killer was it was the reason that I hadn’t figured out. I’m leaving forward to the next book in the series.

I was waiting for this book and it didn’t disappoint. It was nice that Lucy was in the book and it looks like Jennifer will become a amateur detective in her own right. I look forward to getting to know the vampires and what is going on with Jennifer’s ex.

Imagine this: You're driving with your feline friend in the passenger seat, minding your own business, when suddenly your cat starts bossing you around like a backseat driver. You try to ignore it, but their judgmental meows just won't quit. It's like you're stuck in a never-ending episode of "Paw & Order: Special Felines Unit". I’ve realized this is now my life. I had just left my sister's house, determined to make a life for myself. But first I had to solve the crime of the kidnapped cat, which wasn't a mystery because I knew who took her. The owner didn't believe me. So, here I am in ...

I was leery about listening to this as it was AI narrated and was surprised at how well the AI was. The story was a fun listen and just what I expected after a couple of intense books I’d listen to before this one.

Hard to get interested in
Revisado: 11-23-24
I really loved the Dark Planet Warriors and Darkstar Mercenaries series so I was looking forward to a new series from Anna Craven. I had a hard time getting interested in this story and the narrator made it even harder as he just didn’t seem like the right fit for the story. Much of the story line was confusing in the way it was portrayed. Just hoping that the next book in the story is more interesting and coherent. Off the listen to book 2.

The author, Sebastian Marlow, is a famous birder excited to put Raven Creek on the map for his rediscovery of a presumed-extinct bird. One of my favorite series
Revisado: 08-22-24
I always look forward to a new book in this series and Carol J Perry never fails to give me an amazing adventure. Lee, Pete and O’Ryan make a great team. Aunt Ibby didn’t play as big of a role as usual though. Loved the addition of Frankie’s role. The ending was great and now I’m waiting in anticipation of how the additions to the family will add to the series.
