Historia
Man’s Search for Meaning is the chilling yet inspirational story of Viktor Frankl’s struggle to hold on to hope during the unspeakable horrors of his years as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, including Auschwitz, while his parents, brother, and pregnant wife perished. Based on his own experience and the experiences of those he treated in his practice, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering, but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

A must have for any listener.
Revisado: 01-02-24
"Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl is a profound and thought-provoking book that explores the human search for purpose and meaning in life. Frankl, a Holocaust survivor and psychiatrist, shares his experiences and observations from his time in Nazi concentration camps.
The book is divided into two parts. In the first part, Frankl describes his personal experiences in the camps, highlighting the unimaginable suffering and dehumanization he and others endured. Despite the horrors, Frankl emphasizes the importance of finding meaning even in the most challenging circumstances. He argues that while we cannot always control our external circumstances, we have the power to choose our attitude and response to them.
The second part of the book delves into Frankl's psychotherapeutic approach called logotherapy. He explains how finding meaning and purpose in life can be a powerful force for psychological well-being and resilience. Frankl suggests that meaning can be found through three avenues: by creating a work or doing a deed, by experiencing something or encountering someone, and by adopting an attitude towards unavoidable suffering.
What sets "Man's Search for Meaning" apart is its ability to inspire and provoke introspection. Frankl's insights into the human condition and the importance of finding meaning resonate deeply with readers. The book challenges us to reflect on our own lives and consider what truly gives us purpose and fulfillment.
Overall, "Man's Search for Meaning" is a timeless masterpiece that offers profound wisdom and guidance for navigating the complexities of life. It is a must-read for anyone seeking to find meaning and purpose in their own journey.

Title: “Stop At Nothing"
Review:
"Stop At Nothing" is an electrifying audible book that takes readers on a heart-pounding journey through the world of international espionage, fast paced action, and explosive thrills. From the very first chapter, the story grabbed a hold of my attention and never let me go.
The plot is filled with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat, as I eagerly anticipated what would happen next. The author's masterful storytelling and attention to detail created a vivid and immersive experience, making it feel like you are right in the middle of the action.
The characters in "Stop At Nothing" were seamlessly interwoven and well-developed, each with their own motivations and back stories. As the story unfolded, I found myself becoming emotionally invested in their fates, rooting for them to succeed against all odds.
The pacing of this book is relentless, with non-stop action and suspense that kept me hooked from start to finish. The author's ability to build tension and create high-stakes situations is truly impressive, making it impossible for me put to stop listening to this book. I finished it in two days!
I can’t say enough about the narrator. His voice was impressive as he matched our hero’s plight at every turn and accentuated certain high and low stress situations. My only hope is that he reads the next two books in this series.
Overall, “Stop At Nothing” is a gripping and explosive thriller that will satisfy any fan of this genre. With its international espionage, action-packed sequences, and unexpected twists, it is a must-listen for anyone looking for a thrilling and adrenaline-fueled adventure.
I’m getting book 2 in this series.

Revisado: 01-24-23
For being a facilitator and instructor going on three decades, this audible book did not disappoint. In each chapter the author offered up some great insight, nuggets of truth, and ways to dig deeper into the material. Her well rounded approach to each chapter was both informative and thought provoking. Very rarely did I think I new it all, especially when she offended a different perspective about the subject. If she were to offer a two or three day course near me, I would gladly take it! Enjoy…
