This book isn’t like the rest of your “books on stones”. The authors take an original approach to the subject.

I liked the way the author presented the material. Juliet did a great job of reading and sharing her own work too. I just bought the Kindle version.

Good review for someone who has read the more significant books on this subject. Brian presents some of the old topics in a new and creative way. Definitely a five star because of the clarity and the manner in which he has presented it.

This book had the potential of evolving into a really good novel until it was twisted into an average story with an overboard me-too theme and all of the woke’ism.

This is a good story on financial success and entrepreneurship but it ends there because contradicts my wife’s personal experience as a former HD associate. While at work she had a serious incident where she was bitten by an exotic spider that likely came into the store with a shipment of wicker furniture. Within a day she nearly died from the toxic venom. We later discovered (from her personnel file) that while she was still in the hospital, HD had already hired a law firm to aggressively fight her on any “potential worker compensation claims”. This all happened while she was close to dying in the hospital. They then viciously threatened her doctor’s credibility for her medical diagnosis. If you are a HD Associate, beware of the wolves in sheep’s clothing.

It isn’t a classic like Pillars but I enjoyed the read. Ken Follett should consider writing a sequel.

Lots of very good facts but it would be better without his Christian biases

The book is well researched and quite well narrated but it would be much better without the anti occult comments. At the beginning of the book the writer implies that he wants to remain neutral and for the first half he does but there were several times in the last half that I felt I was being preached to.

Less emphasis on Christianity and more emphasis on the actual Illuminati and it would have been a 5

A balanced look at prepping without the Fear Porn

This book is a balanced look at prepping without the authors overdoing the Fear Porn. No repeating references financial armageddon, no dwelling on religious apocalyptic scenarios. Just some practical tips on how to build (and join) your community, remain self-sustaining, prosperous and live a fuller life in uncertain times where global resources are likely to become less available than they are today.

I went back in time 40 YEARS

I felt like I was back in junior high listening to a badly narrated science film from the 50s. -- With all of the comments about the BORING narration in these reviews, it makes me wonder if anyone at SN or Audible is reading our feedback at all. The content and subject matter should be a 5 for any die-hard science enthusiasts. However, we must keep in mind that editors, who are dedicated and passionate about creating this content are often blind to other flaws like marketing, presentation and customer feedback. For the rest of us who want some variety in their Audible content, my vote goes for SN to hire Raymond Todd, the talented narrator who was used in "Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman" to replace the existing SN narrator. If this happens, I might even re-subscribe?
