GREAT insight..how it was vs how it is now is striking! huge changes since publication. hard ass guys build an empire and grind away the margins from the entire industry at the benefit of us, the consumer.

This book was suggested to me while I was Interviewing for a management position with Home Depot not only was this a great book to listen too it gave a great insight on the core principles of the company and I got the job. I believe anyone that has, does or wants to work with the Home Depot this is a must read.

I really enjoyed this book. I wish they would update it since there’s been so much time that has gone by since it was first published. Over 25 years. It would be great to hear more of a recent update on where the Home Depot is today but it’s still very interesting and I would recommend it.

Loved this book! Great read! I knew the culture went way back and we had great founders, but I didn't know how innovative and agile they were in the beginning. They truly understood the need to change with the times.

Eye Opening

At first, it seemed like a brag fest from the author/creator. However, I realized he could brag about everything he did. Really really interesting. Home Depot not only changed construction, but home building, editing and fixing. Love how they valued former tradesmen and women
