Narrow Gauge is the right description!

I grew up in the area of the Narrow Gauge Railway and that’s why I was drawn to this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery, The little twists and turns, and the conclusion was very unusual. I do have to point out that the town ‘Ouray’ , mentioned in the last chapter, is actually pronounced ‘U-ray’ after Chief Ouray who negotiated with the founders of the mining town. I grew up in Ouray and my ancestors were one of the three families who founded the beautiful ‘Switzerland of America’. I only wish the book had been longer!

Finally! They kissed and professed their love

I love the way Rexburg and Charlotte interact. Where they take care of the little “ weasels” is absolutely precious! I love the twists and turns of a mystery, and anticipate reading the next book!

The characters in the story have grown on me since the first book. The narrator is fabulous. The storyline is intriguing and keeps me listening. I will read the rest of the series!

Stride novels keep getting better and better with each book. This one was my favorite. I think I will read it again. I loved all the twists and turns and the double mysteries within the story. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this book. The twists and turns kept me turning the pages. What a surprise ending! So glad this book didn’t have any controversial content in it like many of his previous books.

I like the storyline, but the narrator was terrible. She tried to sound dramatic, but was only irritating. She’s probably the worst narrator I’ve ever heard in my years of listening to audiobooks. Sorry to be so harsh.

I was amazed at the reality of serial killers!

This is the first podcast I have listened to and I couldn’t put it down. Although some of the content was disturbing the history and overall information about serial killers was very interesting. I, myself, experienced an attack in which I was the only survivor of several women who were murdered. So the stories really hit home with me and make me wonder if my attacker was a serial killer…The narration was excellent! Thanks/Props to the investigators who were so diligent over the years. Thank you for this production.
