Just a solid book that fills you with more proof of God’s Hand…
Revisado: 08-17-24
I finished feeling more hopeful and assured of God’s presence. I had little doubt before… but seeing his impact on others is something that makes you focus more on your own journey and shows you instances of his work where you might have not noticed before… worth the time to slow down and listen. I did enjoy and I believe you will too. God Bless.

Wide breadth of knowledge and very thoughtfully written
Revisado: 05-12-24
Very detailed… detailed enough I bought the paperback so that I can go through and greater detail and understand some areas better by viewing the corresponding content. Still makes an excellent audio book if that is how you process this content more efficiently.
I’m interested in enough of his approach that I am looking at much of his other material. I like road maps… and this is very much laid out this way. Well done to the author.

It was a great book! I don’t know what you people are complaining about…
Revisado: 04-23-24
I read a lot of reviews that droned about the narrator but I think that is all in your head. Nothing in the least wrong with this book.
If you’re new to short term or you are thinking you need a new approach because what you’re trying just isn’t working… give this one a shot. Worth the read. The Bigger Pockets library is a really quality bunch of books. Read their big book on property management too. It is a must.
But don’t hesitate… I have bought a few titles on Short Term and Air BNB rentals… this is the best. Hands down.

Never thought I would listen… much less enjoy… but I did!
Revisado: 09-11-23
In my quest to better help market my business online, this is actually a very good tool. I didn’t think I would listen or enjoy because I thought this was mainly about becoming one of the narcissistic online influencers… however the tools in here would help those clowns as well… this book is really just a practical guide to how to better achieve a footing with your account. I am new at this so I will see how well it works for me… but for those interested in how to change your thought process to bend to what works and doesn’t online… this may help you out.

Historia
For over a decade, philosopher and energy expert Alex Epstein has predicted that any negative impacts of fossil fuel use on our climate will be outweighed by the unique benefits of fossil fuels to human flourishing--including their unrivaled ability to provide low-cost, reliable energy to billions of people around the world, especially the world’s poorest people. And contrary to what we hear from media “experts” about today’s “renewable revolution” and “climate emergency,” reality has proven Epstein right.

Wow… what a breath of fresh air
Revisado: 05-14-23
I had heard clips and seen short interviews with Epstein. The book was still even beyond what I had expected. It has completely sent me headed down the energy humanist road.
I can say I am very impressed and I bring this book up anytime I hear someone begin a climate or energy discussion. I really challenge the preconceived notion they have and ask they read/listen to the most coherent argument on the subject and rebut it.
Wish more would listen!

Historia
As a young man, Vince Ellison began his career in the belly of the beast—as a prison guard working in the worst cellblock imaginable. And it was to his dismay and sadness that he has seen that same evil later in life. This time, not in the faces of incarcerated criminals, but rather in the eyes of the leaders of the Democratic party. In this persuasive work, Vince marshals his own experience and couples it with a learned and original analysis to conclude that the leaders of America's "progressive" party aren't just wrong on their policy stances—they are deliberately destructive.

How did the US Navy - the branch of the US military tasked with patrolling the oceans - ever manage to produce a unit of raiders trained to operate on land? And how, against all odds, did that unit become one of the world’s most elite commando forces, routinely striking thousands of miles from the water on the battlefields of Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, even Central Africa?

…and as an extra listen to episode 298 of the Jacko Podcast for a 4 hr interview that is totally worth it with Ben.
So humble. So we’ll researched. About to listen to it again so I can pay closer attention to some of the characters who made later impacts.
So many brave men that were more or less lost to history. This book also makes a great Medal of Honor case for a few men who were passed over.
Long book but that doesn’t matter. The history and the writing sucks you in.
Can’t wait to see more from Ben Milligan. BZ

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

Good to hear it in her words...
Revisado: 09-27-20
Been following from a distance on social media for a while. Have listened to her from 30 seconds to 5 minute clips... always rational and thought based arguments on whatever subject she was tackling or responding too...
Never got to know her until now in her words. Very impressed by her strength and courage. It was hard to poke holes in her arguments once they were laid out in her book.
I think that no matter your ideological leaning... you would do well to give this book a chance. It is a reason and fact based argument she makes from beginning to end and she does a superb job making.

Historia
In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face—we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

Revisado: 04-12-20
I’m a fan of much of what I have seen and heard from Crenshaw. Humble and no nonsense... has a simple and straightforward view of life.
This is just a good self book. I put it up there with “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch. Pausch and Crenshaw are certainly very different people with certainly different backgrounds and experiences... their story is worth reading and rereading often to help focus and improve one’s view of priorities and self awareness.
Looking forward to seeing and hearing more fro Crenshaw. I do enjoy his podcasts very much as well.
All the best to him and hope he continues to be a vocal public figure.
