Morgan and his extended family could see the light at the end of the tunnel, dim though it may be. There was the promise of power once again. The plant was being repaired, and it looked as though it may actually run. While it meant lots of hard, sweaty work, the reward was worth the investment. The farm was growing strong, and community involvement was good. People were finally coming to terms with the fact that they needed to work together. So far Mother Nature had been on their side. But that, too, was about to change.

The only con about this book is that it ends.
As for the pros there are to many to list. I can't put this series down. From book 1 to book 8 they keep you wrapped up. Not only are these books entertaining they give you a lot to think about as far as preparing for some kind of catastrophic event whether it's war or natural disaster. Although I probably wouldn't be as prepared as Morgan and his friends and family I think I will be more prepared than most. Your book may become more of a reality sooner than we think especially with what's going on.
Thank you A. American for putting your ideas and hard work out for us to learn from. You are a truly talented writer and a great American I can't wait for the next one!!!!

Best Zombie books ever!!

I don't think J.D could have picked a better narrator then Joshua Story. I listen to a lot of audible books. I probably have listened to 50 so far this year and an aerator could kill a book or make a book and Joshua Story does a really good job as Christian. once again I could not put this book down I listen to it in 2 1/2 days. now I have to wait a long time until he finishes writing the 3rd book. once again he have captured a really good story of zombies. It's different than most and I really enjoy it especially with the scabs, if you like zombie books this is one to listen to.

I am a big fan of apocalyptic books including zombie books. I love how this one is different than most. I like how in real life the good guy doesn't always win.

An unique zombie story!

It is a really good story to follow. I really like the different way that the zombies are presented in this story. I like how there are different kinds of zombies. I don't know if there could have been a better narrator picked to tell this story. A narrator can make a really good book unbearable to listen to. I drive for my job, so I listen to books instead of read. Not only did the author do a great job on the story, he also picked a great guy to read it. Thank you for the great entertainment J.D
Can't wait for book 2.
