If you're looking for an actual magickal system, historical insight, or practical application—this is not the book for you. Vampyre Magick presents itself as a structured practice, yet the author seems more invested in obscuring knowledge than actually teaching it.

The book is riddled with contradictions: it claims to offer a path but refuses to guide; it suggests an order of practitioners but discourages connection; it demands commitment while providing nothing of substance in return. Instead of usable techniques or foundational wisdom, you're given vague philosophical ramblings and arbitrary restrictions that lead nowhere.

Ford’s approach reeks of unnecessary dogma, built on an "if you know, you know" attitude that’s as pretentious as it is hollow. His refusal to engage as a teacher (while still selling books as if he’s one) is not some grand occult mystery—it’s just lazy. If secrecy and self-importance were magick, this book might actually be useful.

Save your time, money, and mental energy. There are far better resources out there for those serious about exploring the vampyric current without the empty theatrics.

From the second you begin to the moment the book ends, it twists and turns keeping you guessing and needing to know what happens next. Highly recommended. 10/10

Enjoyed the performance! The book is a tragi-comedy with a focus on how mundane interactions create the culmination of an entire life and the main character’s awareness of this leaves them alienated from reality. Lots of laughs matched with plenty of relatable moments. Fun and quick listen. Recommend!
