I really liked the way the author made this story have the elements of a realistic biker club but the Hero a determined and devoted Prez. I will be heading straight to book 2. Troy Duran was hot a Hades! Troy and Noelle do an amazing job!

I am not a fan of MC stories, mostly because of the language (somehow the f-word is king and no one is creative enough to come up with better) and the gratuitous sex with any female with a pulse. But, this story surprised and intrigued me. There was all the f-bombs and gratuitous sex, but the hero really cleaned up his (sex) act for the heroine. But, they still had to deal with it, since she met up with his previous partners all the time. Rock actually wished he hadn't been so free with it - imagine that! And, he did something about it.

All the characters are interwoven into a big family - who care a great deal about each other. This book sets up the series and does it well. Be aware: the story of Rock and Hope doesn't end with book 1 - you will need to get at least through book 3. But, let's face it, Troy Duran's narration makes it all worth while!!!

Book 1 was included in the Escape Package, so I thought I would give it a try. I am glad that I did because this book captured my attention right away and hooked me. I have purchased book 2 and cannot wait to see what happens next. The narrators also do a great job!

I am not a huge fan of MC romance. The whole crime is sexy with wild parties and drugs and orgies and violence is not normally a draw for me even when I visit fantasy land. Lol. But I liked the narration sample and the reviews were overly favorable so I gave it a try.

The thing I loved most was that there was no cheating. She was attracted and captivated yes but she was in love with and loyal to her husband. His respect for that loyalty and his decision to let her be was another of my favorite features of this story. It was also crazy realistic. The way they met the instant attraction the length of time as in years until they actually came to be together. Doll (loved her nickname) keeps her shy innocence it doesn’t just disappear when she decides to let her self be with him. Circumstances around the two changed but their core characters remained true. I appreciated that a lot.

I didn’t even mind it being a series. I’m looking forward to finding out how the two figure out the tough road ahead.

First book by this author and I will be looking into more of her work. Also a first listen for both audio talents and they were fabulous!

Slow burn love story with great characters. MMC is patient, thoughtful, and deeply in love with the FMC. The FMC is unexpectedly assigned to defend Rock in court. No cheating, angst and plenty of secondary characters within the brotherhood. No cliffhanger just a continuation. Fantastic duel narrators.

Great story, great narration, relatively low angst. I loved Troy Duran, I don't think I have heard him narrate before. Noelle Bridges was very good as well. I would absolutely recommend this story and I am about to pick up the next in the series.

Love, love, love this series!! This was my first narrated book, and I have to say that I love Troy Duran - sounds like a true alpha male - and I can totally picture Rock when he's narrating. Noelle does a great job as Hope as well. Can't say enough good things about the series and narrators!

Love this series. Glad I got to hear it. The narrators were absolutely fantastic. Rock and Hope are opposites but their undeniable chemistry is beautiful. This is a sweet, fun, entertaining, and intriguing journey to go on with the Lost King’s MC.

story- I was really into their story and just wanting more. it entertained me and had me laughing and steamy scenes were good too
