Adam Rivington has the accent and voice that should be in more books than three

Jackson is a great male character. Super hot, open with feelings, sexual, and doesn’t give up. When he meets “Jade” he knows what he wants and she is willing to play the part.

Story hasn’t completely overcome her childhood. She uses the guise of “Jade” to play house with a handsome stranger in a little bit of paradise.

The sex is hot. The conflict made sense. It’s a good read. We do get a typical HEA, but it didn’t feel like it was needed. I liked that.

I liked Melissa’s narration. Mature with a good tone. I loved Adam’s and I’m sort of sad that he has a small body of work in romance. He was a nice discovery.

Man reader was great, woman reader was awful. She sounded too robotic and plain... almost zero emotion from her. The story had depth. Pleasantly surprised.

4⭐️4🌶 This is a hot little book from the beginning. I really enjoyed the flirting and faux marriage.

So like l said overall this was a good story.

It was a little long but made sense all the way through. I loved their unique meet cute of meeting on respective vacations and then spending the entire week enjoying every single moment with each other while not telling each other who they are outside the island.

The way she has them meet again after they part ways is absolute karma coming around. A little bit of bad karma for her hating the sex industry and a little bit of good karma because they fit so well together.

I love how she finally gave into her feelings and asked him to chase her or woo her. They spent every day together after that.

This book was narrated by Melissa Moran and Adam Rivingon.

Adam nailed the snark of this character perfectly but I just didn’t LOVE his voice. I would listen again but I wouldn’t seek him out.

Melissa has a lovely voice with a cute lisp. It really works for her and works well for some characters.

Adam needs to be hired for more spicy books!!!! My Gawd... the way read reads these scenes gave me full body shivers and had me soaked 💦.

Melissa did a satisfactory job. Her inflection / timing could be better. Sometimes, she has a flat delivery. It's less noticeable at the faster speed I listen to at 1.30 verses, the default of 1.0. Honestly, I think more of my distain was the actual character (Jade/Story).

Story: I feel Jade/Bermuda is the true personality. Her first penetration was bent over a desk for christ sake. She's not as vanilla has she wants be believe. Jade was free, with no inhibitions once she actually gave into her desires. She walked around nude in the yacht. It's natural and healthy to be sexual.

USA society has really messed with people minds. it's sad.

I disliked Story in NY. She was told she was frigid, which we learned was bullshit. Story felt shame and was embarrassed by childhood teasing and shaming for the family business. She was a total bitch towards Jackson. She was a close-minded prude. Story/Jade recognized she had childhood trauma, so why didn't she get therapy; a bit weird IMO. Also, since her parents owned an adult sex shop-they sold have been able to teach her to be more accepting and open-minded for the industry. Story/Jade acts as if she was born and raised in the 1950s!!

Jackson was perfect in every single way.
Glad they had a HEA

I downloaded this book on the recommendation of reviewers in an online book club. They swore it had a great British narrator and a decent story. No way! If that accent is British, so am I! It sounded more like someone from Manhattan mixed with a little West Virginia. I couldn’t even decide if I liked the story or not because I was so disappointed with the narration. However, sex with a complete stranger in the first chapter is not my cup of tea. I guess I should’ve known better based on the title.
