He will teach Thomas to control himself, and he will do everything in his power to protect Thomas from the wolves who believe that mutts should just be put out of their misery.

This is a nice continuation of this series. It has some nice world building and strong characters. This story brings us Thomas and Roland’s journey. Thomas is a turned wolf that both human and wolves have turned their backs on. When he comes across Roland in his travels Thomas never imagined the turn his life would take. Their journey is full of twists and turns as Thomas tries to figure just where he fits in this new world. It was nice to see the bond build between these two and how the world between wolves and humans is changing. Narrator Darcy Stark does a nice job of bringing this story to life.

I've really enjoyed this series so far, and I think I like this one the best. It's a little more angsty, featuring a human turned shifter with little control over his wolf, but it was just as sweet, sexy, and exciting/ fun. Also, I love the narrator.
