Victoria Grossack’s newest novel is MESSING WITH THE MYTHS: THE MAXOTAUR. Daedalus, Icarus (Icky) and three animal friends are trapped on Crete during the time of the Minotaur. Instead of going into the Labyrinth to face that monster, our heroes go into the stomachs of the Maxotaur, a giant cow goddess. This story messes with Greek mythology, but our heroes will be messing with other mythologies soon. Victoria also wrote the Crow Nickels (chronicles), a trilogy about crows doing their best to save the world: HUNTERS OF THE FEATHER, SCAVENGERS OF MINS, and FAMILIARS OF THE FLOCK. If you like Jane Austen, you may appreciate: THE HIGHBURY MURDERS; THE MERYTON MURDERS and THE MANSFIELD PARK MURDERS, set in the Jane Austen universes.
