Originally from Toledo, Ohio, I now live in Newark with my wife and two kids, who keep me grounded and give my life purpose. Outside of counseling, I stay active through working out, yard work, and being outdoors—activities that help me redirect my energy and maintain balance. My journey hasn’t been straightforward. Struggles with alcohol and internal battles taught me lessons I bring to my work. I know change isn’t instant—it’s built in small, messy steps forward. These experiences shape how I connect with others and guide them through challenges. I hold a Master’s in Counseling and certifications as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Board-Certified Tele-mental Health Counselor (BC-TMH), and Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). With over 20 years of experience, I use approaches like CBT, EMDR, and motivational interviewing to help individuals facing addiction, anxiety, depression, or trauma uncover resilience and build authentic lives.
