Suzanne L. Thistle, MA, MLADC, is an author, college educator, and addiction treatment consultant. Her first book, Chem-Free Sobriety, became a #1 New Release Best Seller on Amazon in April and May 2020, and her third book, Parents, Addicted Children, and Hope was a #2 New Release Best Seller the week it was published. In addition, her service in the addiction profession led her to receive the "Lifetime Advocacy," "Legislative Advocacy," and the "Treatment Agency of the Year" awards from her colleagues. After spending 20+ years in the addiction profession as a clinic manager, supervisor, and clinical and executive director of two agencies, she now dedicates her time to writing, consulting, and teaching about mind-altering substances. Her favorite activities include visiting with her family, bike riding, hiking, and enjoying Newfound Lake.
