International Best-selling Author! Northern California instilled curiosity and passion for foraging the land. Her family backpacked in the Desolation Wilderness, fished, identified wild edible plants and "weeds" and crafted from nature. Introduced to organic farming by parents who were avid gardeners and chicken keepers, she was cooking family meals at seven. In Homesteading Garden Goddess she was able to reincorporate her seven-year-old in the process of becoming and celebrating her authentic self! "When I decided to be my authentic self and go back to who I was at seven, my world changed and my current tribe evolved. Today, I am living a passionate life with great friends, family, food and creative projects." Susan is currently an author, speaker, private chef, culinary consultant and teacher. She spends her days writing recipes, entertaining, homesteading, mentoring teens and studying the land at Garden Goddess Farm—her “University,” as her son calls it.
