Hello dear readers & fellow authors, I am Shaun Connaughton. Welcome to my author profile. So let me start by saying I am a single father and I wrote my books in order to A) tell a great story that would entertain everyone who read them and B) something for my daughter to look at when she has children of her own. I love all kinds of movies my favorite genre is probably horror with sci-fi and fantasy being a close second. I really enjoy games video games card games. I am a huge collector of Magic the Gathering. I came from Florida and currently live in North Dakota. I would say much of my writing work is inspired by Stephen King, JK Rowling, and HP Lovecraft. One of the things I can say about my series The Guardian of Light is that when I came up with the idea I wanted something that had never been tried before. Then as I wrote the series I did not realize how by adding in a single element I created something huge.
