Dr. Santrell Hart-Moreland is the founder and visionary behind East Lake Eye Care Center, a premium eye care facility with multiple locations in the Atlanta area. She has been serving patients for over 10 years. Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry from Georgia State University. Dr. Hart-Moreland simultaneously earned both her Doctor of Optometry and Masters of Public Health degrees from the renowned University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also an active part of the optometric community and a member of many local, national, and international professional organizations. Dr. Hart-Moreland served a two-year term as President of the Georgia Chapter of the National Optometric Association, and travels annually to Liberia, West Africa to provide pro bono eye care and training
