Ron Spears is a Detroit-based spoken word artist and author. He graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta with a degree in Physics and the University of Wisconsin where he received a Master’s degree in Engineering. He is the owner of Spears Consulting Inc and is a change agent focusing on global business transformation and community-based projects aimed at personal and professional development. BlackMatterLives.net Prior to Grand Rising, he wrote Black Matter Lives - Manifesting Change using the Laws of Physics, our Minds and the Power of the Spoken Word. He has traveled extensively to Africa throughout his life where he takes boys and girls from Detroit to experience African Rites of Passage rituals with a village in the Gambia that still practices manhood and womanhood training. Ron Spears leads a ministry that does mission work in Africa and Haiti including a water purification system, solar-powered power system, women’s marketplace and scholarships for village members to attend college and trade school. He makes his rounds teaching on internet platforms and has a regular show called “The Metaphysicist and the Physicist” on the Philippe Matthews show on YouTube. SpearsConsulting.net Since the 1990s, Ron has become an expert in Organizational Change Management. Working on client projects around the world helping organizations and individuals embrace change in IT, Business and Personal transformations. Spears Consulting also highlights the mission work projects Ron leads in Africa and the Diaspora. The Grand Rising blueprint online website is a core achievement from Spears Consulting to enable personal transformation and change agents to teach others through various digital media – audio, video, reading materials, worksheets, etc. GrownManStyle.net Ron launched a lifestyle blog called GrownManStyle to focus on Travel, Fashion, Spoken Word, Book Club and Work-Life Balance.
