Louisiana native Morris Ardoin lives in the Hudson Valley region of Upstate New York. His career has been spent with organizations focusing on health care, global migration, family poverty, and education. His first book, "120 HIAS Stories," is a compilation for HIAS, the international NGO that provides first-person accounts of survivors of the Holocaust and other historic events that spurred migration to America. His second book, "Stone Motel - Memoirs of a Cajun Boy" (2020/University Press of Mississippi) is available in hardcover, paperback, digital, and audiobook, and has been optioned for film/tv development. A third book, "Fix Me a Plate," is a cookbook companion to his memoir. He cohosts the podcast "Queer Voices of the South" on the New Books Network.
