Mark Nelson is a career educator living in a small town in the rain shadow of the Cascade mountains of eastern Washington State. He is married to his best friend and fellow educator and together they have raised three daughters and one semi-retired cat. The Poets of Pevana was his first novel. Succeeding volumes in the story of Pevana Cycle are: King's Gambit, The Poet, and Pevanese Mosaic. Book five in the series, Pevanese Legacy is currently in preparation.
