Monica received her BA in 2004 from the University of Pittsburgh in Film, Latin, and Medieval & Renaissance Studies. In 2010, she graduated with my MFA from USC Film School. Her comedic feature screenplay, KING OF THE ROAD, received the Grand Prize at the New England Women in Film Screenwriting Competition. She also wrote and directed a short version of KING OF THE ROAD, which screened at three national film festivals. She moved to Puerto Rico in the summer of 2023, where she continues to work as a media marketer, web designer, and videographer.
