Hey Folks, My name is L. D. Valencia. I am a teacher by trade, as well as, an author. Writing and stories are my passion, along with teaching kids to love reading. I grew up in New York, outside the city. My father came to the US from Colombia, and he instilled in me a desire to work hard and do my best. My mother is a teacher, and part of the reason I wanted to become an educator as well. This whole process started way back when I was teaching a lesson on stories for my students. I wrote up this story for my kids, and it was used to model what story elements were. One of my students told me afterward that this story was awesome, and I should get it published. I told them they were kind, and I moved on to being a teacher. However, after some time, I decided to actually pursue this idea of writing a book. So, I have been working on this project since 2010, creating the world, superhuman agencies, and other aspects of this universe. I have also been working on the other books in the series. I wanted to have an idea where I was going before I published the first book. I hope you will check out my books on Amazon.
