Kevin Kauffman is a Board Certified Patient Advocate in southeastern Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering with a minor in psychology at Lehigh University and has held corporate jobs in electronic component design, digital and analog circuit design, database programming, and IT/IS management before embarking on a successful decade-plus long career as a freelance technology consultant. Navigating the healthcare system while dealing with his own health challenges and then turning lemons into lemonade by using what he learned to help others inspired him to make the leap into professional independent patient advocacy. Kevin's life-long interest in the sciences and his insatiable hunger for knowledge have been driving forces behind many of his projects and pursuits, but his family also instilled in him a love for the creative, and he has dabbled (usually with a less-than-serious bent) in many of the more common right-brained pursuits such as drawing, painting, sculpting, woodworking, cooking, poetry, music, and photography. And now... writing.
