Julia Crowe is a guitar soloist, film composer and author (My First Guitar: Tales of True Love and Lost Chords). her music has been featured on National Public Radio and in the soundtrack for the feature film documentary, DROP CITY (7th Art Releasing), which has screened at major U.S. and international art and design festivals and museums, including MoMA's Art Dome, The Barbican Cinema in London,Istanbul's Millenium Design Fest and many more. "Empire of Light" is Julia’s second release of solo instrumental works for the electric guitar. This CD, along with her debut release, "Smoke & Steel," are both available on Amazon. She is at work producing her third, Istanbul-themed album along with several other book projects. She is the founder of the online webzine, The Guitar, at the-guitar.com.
