I have wanted to write novels for several decades, but never had the time when I was in the military and later working in civil service. The extra capitalization for specific military terminology, such as Soldiers and Veterans, harkens back to that time in my life. I grew up in Clarion, Iowa, and moved extensively over the years, both here in the states and overseas. I retired in northeastern Oklahoma, where I live with my wife and our seven Corgis.
